Does This Number Plate Look Illegal (QLD)??

    yeah i know how it feels man, i work god awful hours too, you are right the bar & headlights need re-aligning, it didn't have a shunt, just poor workmanship from a previous owner somewhere along the line. I have a lot of work to do on this Z but due to family & work commitments it's a bloody slow process, even so she still turns quite a few heads the way she is:D

    Oh and yeah spot on about Jesus driving a Z, reminded me of that Ministry song - "Jesus Built My Hotrod":br:

    but thats a good idea for a cheap splitter on track days :p

    You can get a carbon fibre bonnet legalised in QLD providing it passes certain tests. I will be trying this in the future with my bonnet, but right now I have many other things to spend money on.

    105.11 Visually inspect the front and rear number plates.

    Reasons for rejection



    a) Any part of the number plate is more than 1300mm from the

    ground;

    b) The number plates are not substantially parallel to the vehicle?s

    axles;

    c) Any number plate is obscured, for example by a towing

    attachment, gooseneck or tow ball;

    d) Any number plate cover is tinted, reflective, rounded or bubble

    like;

    e) Any number plate is not of RTA issue, is damaged or faded to

    the extent that the registration number is not visible;

    f) Characters on the number plate are not clearly visible from a

    distance of 20 metres at any point within an arc of 45 degrees from

    the surface of the number plate above or to either side of the vehicle.
