HILARIOUS!!! I'd totally forgotten that Jess had filmed that! I guess you have your payback for me posting this pic on Facebook, ha, ha!!! Echoing all sentiments that Zedfest #5 was totally awesome, Leah and I (again!) had an awesome time! This was our third consecutive Zedfest, having attended both Zedfest #3 in Cowra (in a Land Rover Discovery 2, no less!) and Zedfest #4 in Armidale. Zedfest just keeps getting better every year! Karl... You deserve a special mention for your tireless efforts to make this and previous Zedfest's such awe-inspiring successes!!! And Graham... #5's success owes a helluva lot to you, too!!! Can I get a "Hell Yeah"!!! :bow2: They say you can't choose your family, and in most cases that is true... But I think these incredible pieces of machinery chose us, and thus brought us all together. Leah and I can't wait for Zedfest #6! We'll be there come Hell or high water!!! The only low point for me was when Leah, in bare feet, went to move my Zed from the Shown 'n' Shine out front of the Macquarie Inn to the park in front of our room (@150m), and felt something dripping on her left foot... Yep... Heater Core...!? But, in true forum fashion, I wasn't short of help to diagnose the problem, advice on what to do about it, and in the end - help to fix the problem! First Scotty, then Chilli, then before I knew it, Frysie, Magic Mike, DinoZ, Halyley, Luke and Nick - to name just a few! But most important of all were Kim, who having some 3 feet of hose in his own Zed to bypass his own Heater Core, happily gave me more some 12 inches of said hose to bypass my own Heater Core. Bullus who swiftly lent Chilli and I a bucket to keep filling the radiator - and kept running back & forth keeping it filled. And the irreplaceable Benny_C, who performed the delicate surgery with diligence, reticence rofl, eloquence and, above all, brilliance!!! And all with the true dedication of allowing the task to separate him and BEER!!! Couldn't agree more! Nestled amongst all the rest of your amazing photographs are photographs of my Zed that are just incroyable! Tres fantastique!!! Leah and I didn't take many photo's either (and who could compare to Craig's stellar skills!), due to an empty SD card slot in our digi-camera... But here are a few I took on my iphone... Can't wait for the next one!!! :zlove:
I heard your heater core gave way..we had no idea..after the show it was nap time for us lol..good 4 hours, meanwhile everyone was crazily helping you out Loving Craig's photos..so awesome!! :zlove:
Yeah, my Heater Core certainly did give up the ghost, ha, ha... But as I said in my post, I certainly didn't lack support - either moral or mechanical! They were all fantastic, and showed the true strength of this great group of people! :zlove: Oh, and Renee... It was "7" plates!:rofl::rofl:
Zed enthusiasts at their best! Oh 7 plates...I was going to guess 7...but I thought I would have been exaggerating LOL...but man that dessert was goooood...who could blame him
No convincing ther boss needed. Just tell them the dates you won't be there and thats that. There should be no issue since you have given plenty of notice Come hang with us at Vic nationals and im pretty sure you will love it!

Even after getting home from z fest to discover my engine is screwed. (spun end bearing or collapses lifter) And my fiancé leaving me out of no where... My z fest is not ruined ... Why because of the amazing people that were there who I can't wait to see next year with my 400rwkw beast back and kicking !!!
What? did I read that right? Your engine is screwed? All jokes aside. Sorry to hear about the fiancé man. Looking forward to reading about the upcomming build. Hang in there.
Man, I think Benny might have to hand over the hard luck trophy with your engine packing up right after Zedfest and then your fiancée leaving you Would be incredibly tough for you right now, I am glad your Zedfest memories are helping you through it and the prospect of building a 400rwkw motor! I'll have to get onto sending you those high res photos so you've got something to stick on the wall as motivation in getting her back on the road with a killer motor  All the best with the build. Cheers, Craig
Hey Procky, Clear out some PMs and I'll shoot you the download link for you high res photos Also Frysie...nice photos man! Got some good shots in there and covered the event well. Cheers, Craig
