why cant that sort of plenum be done on a zed...especially if you increase TB size and piping, wouldnt it support the airflow better in a zed?

    Cost

Nobody would pay for them as big job to make them. They have trumpets inside the plenum also.

is there any pics of the trumpets? unless i've missed them in this thread...i know original manufacturing would be expensive but as a overall package, like increased sized piping from air induction-turbo-intercooler-plenum (similar to yours), wouldn't the overall airflow be benificial?

    Cheap

So cheap, especially with the USD atm. I am still not convinced they will make much difference though even with larger pipes.

They look pretty at least :)

Starting to look very nice John - I'm a fussy bugger and I sat there for ages looking at the pics and couldn't fault it, thought of a couple of changes but then thought harder & came up with "nup Johns got it pretty good :) "

    Nice work John; looks awesome!
Is the aircraft wiring plain white, or numbered? Plain white would be a bitch to troubleshoot.

do you have any future plans for more heat proofing with the turbos/manifolds?

maybe hpc coating the turbo housing, or bagging it up ? hpc coating the manifolds?

i see you have the metal heat proof barriers, do you think these are sufficient enough ??

maybe the stuff is already hpc coated ???

    Heat

May high temp black HPC the manifolds. Currently they are high temp black ceramic painted, turbo bag is not good on a race car as keeps too much heat in. Probably not coating the turbine housing. There are decent vents above both turbos in the bonnet and no scuttle panel.
Wiring is military spec and is ceramic coated, shielded and extra good conductivity and light weight. Yes it is white but each wire is labelled and clear heat shrink used otherwise we would be lost. One our mechanics is also an auto electrician and part way to electrical engineer.

The new VQ30DETT motor compared to the old VG30DETT.

The new motor is running less boost and is on e70 while the VG is running more boost and 98 octane with an octane booster

The 412rwkw was my old VG30DETT race motor rebuilt and put in customers car running 98 octane fuel with octane booster. It had old road tyres with to much neg camber and wheel alignment ? and it was loosing traction even with 3 guys in the boot.
