So have they confirmed what day the tech day is?

I hope there is another tech day after this one... I think I'll need it desperately...

 

while we are pulling door trims of etc, i gotta work out why mine only works sometimes but not others (never works when i really need it eg. RBT, carparks where i gotta take the ticket etc )

Madcow take the window switch apart and fiddle with the contacts. it has some old school mechanism that can slip out of place pretty easy. i took mine apart gave it a clean put it back together and windows have been great ever since.

Also Blackzx maybe you can bring your ferarri taillights to the next meet? Ive been wanting to see what they look like on mine for ages now but havent been game to buy a set incase i dont like. You could chuck my 2k spec replicas on as well see if you like them better.

Arvin also could you please bring your boost leak tester i sasw you had last time? Ive been meaning to find my leaks since that last tech day.

 

Sure, if I can get the lights off listening to pennyarvs's advice, I'll bring them to the tech day for sure.

 

Attila, that boost leak tester is actually MoulaZX's. He can probably bring it if he's coming...

HAHAHA...!! Your'e a sad case, Arvin!! It's more up to you young guys and the Tech Gurus whrn they can be held... remember, we can't have a Tech Day without the help of the 'Magic Mechanics'. It's mainly having suitable premises available. I'm still back at that idea to have our own premises (WITH hoist/s) for handling hard stuff. Love to convince my sons they don't need all of that 'small' factory unit... and to leave space for a hoist/s, spray gear, pub with topless waitresses (oops, sorry, that's in my dream!!)...

 

Keeping dreaming Mike, I like the sound of where this is going . With a venue like that we'd see Sydney shoot to the top of the "city with most active members" list.

 

GUYS... THOUGHT I SAID IT ABOVE, BUT THE TECH DAY IS THE 16TH!!
(Subject to reasonable weather... no power cords in the wet!!)
Venue is rear of Emerald Press, 4 Anella Ave, Castle Hill ('between' Castle Hill Tavern and RTA). Bring your own chair/s, wives, girlfriends, kids. There is plenty of adjoining level concrete area under shade for kids to play (ball games, RC cars, etc... no traffic worries)

Electricity flows but there's something wrong with the mechanism inside. We'll get it checked on the day...

 

Oh i can bring along:

a manual conversion (please let me know ASAP as i gotta fit it into my car)
some random timing covers
s2 cam gears
s2 injectors and rails


and i am looking for:

rear bar (in black)
and reo for behind the rear bar
and a black spoiler (s1) needs to be perfect or near.

 

keep in mind i still have that one you saw in sale thread (not perfect. seperating at bottom). Looks like nobodys taking it, so Ican give it to you for real cheap if you want. Get it out of my yard.

Could bring it along for you to assess damage and see if its worth your time to paint or if you want something better.
