ahh the 2+2 sides should be available almost from the start... sorry but i wont be able to give you an idea on the back until monday mate. if we can get th numbers th kit will be air-freighted from US and should be here within a week, then a week to make the moulds before we can start pushin out the kits. ive been told that we are looking a 2days per kit and i really cant see any reason why the 2+2 sides couldnt be shipped to WA along with th rest of the group shipment coming here. if all goes according to plan then we should be looking at having the first batch of kits being fab'd up in a months time. 1) Renee, RENZED, Bendigo/VIC, Entire kit (2 seater), Definite, Got money for deposit now 2) Jadyn, blackj_ck, Perth/WA, Front Bar, Definite, got the money 3) Kade, kaza, Perth/WA, Front and Sides (2+2), got the money ill get hold of josh (JS AUTO IMPORTS) and give you an update on monday, Cheers, Jadyn

hey guys, sorry there hasnt been an update in a while, this GB is starting to suffer from the WW luck its a pity to have got things organized to this stage and then get nowhere but thats exactly whats starting to happen. although ill try and keep positive about this and genuinely try to keep this GB goin, at the moment we dont have enough interest in this to be makin it viable both to pay for the importing of the kit, and to make it attractive to the manufacturer of the kits. im flying back out to the mines tomorrow so the timeframe to get it running is closing up this time. ill post up an update within th next few days, hopefully with some good news, although i cant make any promises as im finding it difficult to get hold of every1 i need to get this running. cheers, Jadyn
sorry Sorry But I have to pull out. Have bigger problems with my brakes at the mo. Maybe sometime in the future but not at the moment. Andy.
What the manufacturer needs to do,is import the kits, make them and then sell them Unfortunately these type of buys fail as you have to strike while the iron is hot, most people want the goods asap If the manufacturer imports the kit himself, its obvious that he will get his investment back in no time,as shown by the interest in this thread Thats what running a business is all about ,taking a gamble and if it goes well ,the business itself prospers Just my opinion ,buts its always worked that way for me and many others !! Very well done for your efforts even if it doesnt work out
Simon you right, that is business. Why is it all group buys on body kits always go wrong? Once the kit is sorted for a 2+2 I would be interested in parts of it.
They all go arse up for a few reasons i think Firstly alot of these buys are initiated before the parts are ever made and therefore not only are the parts not available at the time when people show interest and have cash ,also prices are only an estimate. Secondly, there isnt any way you can give a exact price on something that hasnt even been made ,and you cant give freight prices as no one has any idea what the goods way either i would call these more of an business venture rather than a group buy
well does anyone know of where i can get a bomex or a ww kit for around the $1000 mark...........give or take a few hundred............i am in brisbane........but dont mind frieght
This question should be in the wanted section but to answer your question there is a kit on ebay. Do your research. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-300ZX...ryZ36605QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Nothing but trouble...... This is an update to everyone...........most of all Jadyn and Lady Z. The company I use is in the process of being taken over by Schenker DB International so we, and I mean quite a few of their existing customers, have been forced to go back to UPS. I did receive a quote from Schenker, for what it was worth, and it confirmed my suspicions; no one in their right mind would pay such a price! UPS, in their infinite wisdom and despite their claims of being the largest airfreight company in N. America, will not ship this kit airfreight because it exceeds the maximum allowable dimensions of 72" by a margin of 7" !!!!! Under the circumstances, and faced with my departure on the 11th for a 3 month tour of duty, I cannot see any way of doing this other than by sea. To that extent my offer to Lady Z still stands and I am sure I can add this to a growing list of goods I will deal with upon my return in December. If you guys want to re-initiate this thread then......it might stand a better chance of succeeding.
