    haha, that would be the previous owner i assume... or one of. Thankfully i have a new cowl lined up, just haven't installed it as i've been trying to get her back on the street, looking pretty is next on the agenda. :)

    ... brake booster silicone hoses ..... at the risk of getting mucho flamed ... the moulded brake booster hoses cost a bomb compared with 5ply silicone hose purchased by the metre ...

    one very kind fellow zedder gave me 60 cm of 5ply, in red, which fitted brilliantly, without kinks .... FTW !!!!!

    sounds like a good alternative, and i geuss you could get it in most major colours (blue/red/black/yellow?)

    ive always wondered what silicon replacements of the four main fat intake hoses was good for. Is there any reasoning forit? Other than its easier to remove, and looks better?

    Also in those silicon versions, do they have the connection things for the PCV hoses or whatever comes off the stock intake pipes? I forget what it is.
