I hope so too The more I talk to the phone with this guy, the more I gain trust in him. He's an older guy so maybe that's why. Even if there are a few problems, $8.2k isn't too bad for such a clean TT with 30,000km on the engine.
thats good. you got a good buy JD i would worry mate. however if your going off the km's as many have suggested they would be WAY off. no way known its done 30k. but good buy anyways. i vote you come round when you pick me up and take me for a spin
lol brand new 30k ago, and 180k before that LOL. playen with u man. im just jealous with my whole 270k's. gotta love the aus specs honesty. :zlove:
i think it means the engine was put in 30,000km ago... but it also has had previous milage on it.. but i think it has been rebuilt before it went into the car... receipts will tell..
thats how i took it, just a rebuilt engine... but hey, if its new wow, and if not, its rebuilt who cares haha! cant complain either way.. be good to see receipts. :zlove:
Been listed a few times that one. I was looking at that a while ago cos of the 4 seater thing. I wonder if it didnt sell last time or was relisted cos of a non-payer.
There are pics on the eBay link I posted. I still haven't got the car in my possession. There has been a hold-up with the roadworthy. The mechanic is trying to get hold of indicator lenses apparently. Hopefully I can still pick up the car today..
Ahhhhhhhhhh. After all that, the car is not ready to be picked up yet. It needs new foglights and indicators to pass the roadworthy apparently. The guy said it should be ready by lunch time tomorrow. Are clear side lenses illegal or something? Can't think of any reason why the car would have failed the roadworthy due to lights...
Damn! I hope it doesn't take a month before it's ready to pick up... like mine was.... Good luck :zlove:
:sorry: it must just be me but i see red flags going up! warning bells.... surely this guy should've known already if it was roadworthy or not... they should've had it ready to go before trying to sell it...
well not really sometimes , a ca could take more then a month to sell , so there is no point in getting a R/W until it sells ... yes he may think that it is R/W but a closer look will say it not ,
The guy is very genuine, don't worry. He's an older guy and doesn't really know a lot about cars (didn't even know what his shift kit was for) but has spent a lot of money on the car and maintained it well. I almost feel sorry for him... I'm getting this car so cheap considering all the work that's gone into it. Poor bastard
