Don't count me out yet but it doesn't look as if I'll be able to raise the funds at such short notice. I'll do my best but can't promise.
Hi Claymen, You will be paying me as I have agreed to handle the money transfer to UK. How you pay me I dont care, so long as any costs to me are covered Im sweet. Credit Card is fine but the percentage it costs me I'll pass on(I'll need to check what it is) PayPal is fine, but once again what gets taken in fee's needs to be covered. You can transfer into my account as normal. Please dont send any payments yet! It all needs to be finalised and ready to roll, only then will I ask that you make payment. Im just the middleman for safe money transfer, Mattz is organising it
Credit card may be the way to go depending on what I end up having left after the sway bars and few other bits come Friday. What cost is there involved with CC?
Consider downgrading, that's what I did. Remove the full throttle shift to save a few hundred, it's benefit is more like the icing on the cake imho
Re: Racelogic Hope this helps! I made a BIG MISTAKE buying it through CHIPTORQUE in Qld. so I would NOT recommend them! Back to the TC. Digital adjuster, if you go for the digital adjuster there is more flexibility in setting the amount of slip ie; you can increase or decrease slip in 1 degree increments. Also, if you change tyre sizes it can be adjusted via the digital adjuster without the need to connect a computer. A definate plus with the digital unit is you can monitor the front & rear wheel speeds & modify the wheel settings. The control units display is not very easy to read due to size & it is also not easily mounted as it doesn't fit in with the Z's decor. The fitting of the unit is not overly complicated, although crimping of the supplied lugs requires care also the wires are not easy to connect due to their small sizing. Launch control, a must have! Set your desired RPM & watch the boost rise the car sounds like a rally car on the starting line with the misfire. Full throttle shift, takes a bit of setting up only useful for drags but works well with no over revs. ONLY the 8 cylinder version has data logging, all the others will data log but the laptop needs to be connected.
quick question. The UK GB guys will be paying VAT on their units and I would assume that it is included in the pricing for them. But I dont see a VAT free price for us seeing we are export. CAn someone please check this out for us?

VAT info I asked Dan about VAT and his reply was.. I do not charge my UK customers VAT because I am not VAT registered ? Caz.. QUOTE=Caz1;764898]Good thinking Tekky, I'll ask Dan about that one. [/QUOTE]
Suggestion As the GB has dragged on for some time and now it's a sudden "pay by date" some guys in the UK are struggling too, why not those who are seriously interested in the product, still regsiter their names but alongside state when they think they can pay by. It might appear then that next month a lot more folks have the cash and if numbers climb, the price goes down even further Also for those thinking maybe engine management is the way to go instead, well yep maybe, if your thinking tuning in that direction anyway in the future, if not then nope. Engine management takes more fitting and alot more mapping, which can in many caes be big bucks to some, certainly if you want to retain the "daily driver feel" There are a number of performance cars in the UK which run Racelogic traction alongside the engine management as it's so much easier to manage and work with for day to day stuff. Hardened trackers and 1/4 mile sprinters is one thing, crusing, the oodd sprint and going to work each day is another thing. I can say though, this kit is very user friendly, easy to install, has great features and certainly for us UK guys, is half the price of engine management which many of us don't really need. Caz will PM you in 5mins with an idea, lol smithy
I am definitely interested but at the price they are I probably wouldn't be able to afford them comfortably this month. It also doesn't help I have other things ordered to pay for come this pay.
installation of these units Just for future reference, there is an article in TECH section: http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.220 Cheers
My problem too. Can't scrape together the money so quickly. I'd say I'd be ready to buy about November at the latest, maybe late October.
The UK guys are struggling with the date also, and suggested mid September cutoff might be better - so I came up with a random date of Sept 19th Will this help some people to get an extra paycheck in before payment is required?
