How come you paint stuff on a old bonnet? I've been using a old pallet lately, works well

 

they look awsome man, cant wait to see them in the car

 

na its the hilux bonnet i replace.. chunk of rust in the corner so just been sitting im my shed.. lol was a good idea at the start til it got wet with paint and bits started sliding down it lol

i have a board i usually use but its chipboard and bits fly up with the air pressure

 

haha u and me both buddy.....

chrome stuff comes back this week so come this time next weekend the engine will be back together just about ready to drop in all blinged lol

 

ahhh

i wish i had money and patience to do that to my engine bay

 

its no the money... its the motovation to walk past it every day looking like this....

I've had this dream of putting it back together and I only have a week before the rest of the stuff is here ready to go... but i put it together to give me some idea of what its going to look like...

looks really good eh. good thing you got the UD off yesterday! Made it look easy. gotta get mine off now so i can start painting my covers. was cleaning out the garage and just found 3 cans of ford racing blue engine paint, might give that colour a go and see what it looks like.

 

cover down the center strip and the chrome letter for NISSAN.

havent got the pulley fully off yet.. still need to paint that too lol...
