Didn't know if you guys over east knew of this. We have www.fuelwatch.wa.gov.au and I heard you didn't have anything similar. In any case, found this people might be interested in. Man, it sucks, WA have the highest petrol price...guess they have that cause of all the cashed up P-platers with turbo cars haha. http://carsguide.news.com.au/site/on-going-costs/petrol-prices/
We have the highest fuel prices and higest cost of living (now) and highest cost of homes (now) and all for good reason..... we have the highest wages..... sorry.... my bad.. LOWEST... we have the LOWEST wages. Easy mistake. (unless of course you want to work miles from home, live underground, and watch your marridge/family fall apart whiel you earn the big bucks of course)
no u dont.. i earn more then my mates up in the mines and i still live in the city.. alot of people do..
i just paid $1.34p/l for BP Ultimate up the road its the cheapest i've paid in 2-3 months and they say its gonna get even cheaper...
MOBIL fuel: you have to love the tricks they pull .... .. i use MOBIL premium unleaded and usually top up each tuesday, using the base unleaded price as a price gauge .... for years, MOBIL added 6 cents to the base price for premium unleaded .. it was a given.... .. some 6 months ago, i noticed that that, unannounced, MOBIL moved the differential to 7 cents ... you would never know unless you checked the readout on the pump itself .... !!!! .. so they are picking up one free cent for every litre they sell ... not a lot, until you think of the volumes they sell ... just another petrol company rip off ....!!! ..
Well I think he's a drafty lol you know... CAD and shit But anyway, i was gonna drop it but i wont. There are not many City people (in normal non mine related jobs) earning over $80,000 per year, which is what you can EASILY get when starting at the mines. My company will pay a drillers offsider (apprentice) $80K starting wage, 2 weeks on, 1 week off. Thats no qualifications, no tickets, nothing. Just smile the right smile at the interview. Im in IT and only now consider myself as starting to "do well" and im only on $57K There are HEAPS of people, WITH qualifications and with skills earning much less than I am, not just in IT but in heaps of areas.
are u serious baz? with the all the fuel prices fluctuation i wouldnt be whinging over paying 60c more for a full tank
no he's talking about the diferential. So an increase over and above the accepted increase in the price of oil.
$1:53 for PULP....... $1:49 for ULP ...... in country Vic But what I cant for the life of me understand is LPG prices 4weeks ago it was 49cpl..... Last night it was 72cpl I've also noticed that many "basic food items" have increased by about 30% in the last month Bread is double what it was a month ago....... Eggs are up by 50% Potatoes are crazy @ $8.00 a bag yet milk has remained the same and meat (mmmmm steak ) has actually gone down a bit Kingy
come live in sydney avg house price is over here is $400,000+ avg rent is over 350/week+ (unless you wanna live in a ghetto full of hood rats or bogans!), oh and the avg wage is about $500-$600 work that one out ^_^ oh and avg fuel price for normal 91 oct unleaded is about 132-150
my uncle has been working for the a fuel transportation company for 10years...mainly dealing with shell, mobil and BP...he told me through experience that most of the servos are really cheap tuesday night and wed. morning before 10am...this is due to the reason that on wed. the fuel trucks come in and deliver the new fuel...its a weekly cycle...but over the last 6months i have seen the price go up like crazy...6months ago i was payin $1.32 and sometimes if i was luck $1.28 a litre but no lately i have been filling up on $1.34 and $1.38 ...stupid fuel costs but yeah if you live near those servos and didnt know bout it already try it out might work out cheaper...
