I am still getting more enquiries for PTU's. I will do another round of these after this GB is done and dusted. So dont panic if you missed out this time.

I was told yesterday that the bulk delivery is due Friday this week possibly. If that happens I will post off the GB parts next week and start round 2 the following Friday.
just a bit of an update on how the GB is going. I spoke to the supplier today. The PTU delivery has been held up from their supplier because some of the other parts they bought are out of stock. Our PTU's are part of a consolidated delivery with their usual stock order. Apparently the parts that are short in their order are arriving next week. In the meantime, if anyone actually has a car undrivable cause of this being late. Please let me know as he has 4 or 5 in stock I can get now to help you out. ( like I did for Beaver last week ) Wont be long now. BTW I havent given them the money yet and won't till the parts arrive. So its safe in Tektraders bank account and not at risk of dodgy suppliers. Id be in for GB round 2 is there any way it can all be purchased as a single item in the next run ie PTU and connectors and everything needed all as one item at one price?? Or logistically not possible??
I will discuss it with Zrated. I can buy the connectors but I have to buy 100 of each which is obviously too many. We will try to work something out

Wiring People I just had a PM regarding wiring colours. There has been some confusion with one member regarding the black wire and the black wire with silver dots, in his case he says both black wires have silver dots. If you are going by colours with the black wires and you come across this as my harness is not like this, it is very simple. The black wire that is grouped with the red wires that are terminated at the 6 pin plug, that black wire grouped with them goes to the 7 pin plug at pin #4.
I had the same wires in my loom. Two of them are black with white spots. best way is to look at the old PTU and see whihc one of these goes to the earth pin. ( its marked on the back of the PTU) make sure that that one goes back inot the E spot on the series 2 PTU. The E is on the opposite side of the new PTU compared to the old one.
I havent spoken to him since Monday. I have had a lot on my plate this week. Will call again this monday and ask for progress report. GJ
