Dude no amount of links or pictures will change physics. Good news is it's your car to make more or less efficient as you like
I did ask for picks,so sharing a few my self, now I am not new to cars and bikes, had over 60,ones like RTE38 Charger,GTRXU1,trust me I will make it better at what ever cost. its made to spend :zlove::br:
This is a good system here. Front facing vent in front of the radiator to get plenty of air through it and rear facing vents behind it to get rid of it, keeping the engine bay air pressure down so you can get good continuous flow through the radiator. The back corners of the vents are probably above the exhaust manifolds and turbos to help get rid of some heat from them too. The Border bonnet has the same kind of system.
Thank you, thats it for front with 2 6 inch out let flaps at rear. Will cost me $1000 to have it all done and painted top to bottom :zlove::br::agree:
Depends what you're trying to cool and at what speeds, in which direction... On the highway your front vent is going to feed a bit of cool air to the plenum and coilpacks/fuel rail. Will have to balance your radiator air dam against that vent and the outlets at the rear to make sure you're not stalling one of them or reducing radiator air-flow too much. At idle it'll just be another outlet, traveling sideways will be inbetween. Has anybody found an easy way to vent from around the turbos etc.? Something I want to add to mine but not sure if there's a way to do it without chopping rails/arches.
Well just make sure the rear facing vents in the bonnet are bigger than the forward, also note that the bonnet on Anti's also has a hump behind the forward facing vent so any air that comes in there is going to flow fairly straight over the plenum. Forward facing vents will always detract from radiator cooling but if you've got heaps of headroom there that's ok. You definitely don't want a big bug/bird catcher on a Z.
Old school fluted sounds awesome, I think I will have to see if I can find someone to do that to mine, two sets along both sides next to the centre hump about a foot and a half long would look perfect and probably lower temps too.
