    After mucking around with the stock fuel door for a few weeks I gave up on It and ordered a Sparco aftermarket filler. Fits pretty well and looks great IMO.

    Front guard has got its second coat of filler on it and is ready for further smoothing.

    On the PC it look like the new Mazda metallic red.

    Nice tape job. Looks like it came out very well.

    I'm super jealous of your workspace.

    Widebodys looking tough as usual. Glad to see progress :D will look pretty schnazzy when in gelcoat.

    Im pretty sure this is just the mold being created. Glass panels will be cast from off it. Then it'll be super light :br:

    But yes, must be buying filler by the 20kg tubs. :p

    thats a nice shape on the quarters .:)

    I got away with heating the stock fuel door into shape and extending the lug on the back of the door so it locks into postion

    Dont start me on it. I keep buying 20kg bags of gyprock and it keeps running out :p. Id love to weigh the car when all the plugs are made to see how heavy it is :p

    I completely agree with anti here. I think it looks farking mean when you can see the tyre from behind the car.

    Had a looksie on Sat night. It is coming along nicely. Really liking the rear quarters. From memory it was 6foot 4/5inches total width at the back.

    I took a bit of a break from the front guards while the bog dries (takes a few days) and started carving out the front bar. This was basically what I had in my head. The black section will be dry laid carbon fiber. Need to widen the front bar a little more to meet the new front guards before I go any further. As can be seen the passenger guard is finished but the drivers needs to be sanded back.
    As previously stated the wood on the bottom has grid lines on the top that I use for measurements. Its not a lip for the spoiler........not yet at least :p
