car was running monday, worked a shitload on it all week and come friday it won't start.

fusebox, fuel filter, ptu, etc relocated

car cranks but won't get going :(

getting fuel, busted all over my face when I checked

fuses all good, ptu plugs good, TPS, CTS, CAS connections okay

    manually rotated CAS, ticked healthily

probably something daft and simple. thoughts?

Is there physical spark from the coil packs. Does the middle wire on the coilpack have power?

when you relocated the PTU did you get the black wires around the correct way (assuming you have a s2 ptu), my first experience with this showed up with the PTU heating up with the ignition on and no spark. worth a check if all the boxes are ticked.

    been at work all day
haven't done this, I'll check tomorrow.
only OPS and twin TPS plugs were extended
series 2 PTU was already wired in, I just stripped back the loom and put it under the nose panel

I heard somewhere that the PTU grounds through the bolts that hold it to its original bracket... this is rubbish yes?

mine was not bolted down for quite a while, so while it may be preferable its not going to stop the engine starting.

The ground is located in a wire in one of the connectors . DOnt forget the original mounting area is a plastic cover so no ground there .
