Is he going to help pay for the repairs, seeing as he was the cause?
    Hopefully not too much damage.:(

Yeah he did say that he will, wether he does or not is a different story. He did leave us without saying anything, so it leaves me a tad worried.

It's only front bar and the lights on the left hand corner, Andy checked and said there was no chassis damage or anything like that.

Thats a plus. The damage could have been a whole lot worse.
You do have all his contact details?
Insurance cover it? just don't say your were on a cruise.
and be careful how you word an insurance claim.

Yeah, glad it wasn't anything major.

Insurance wouldn't be worth it, probably pay more in excess then you would for the repair. I'll find out tomorrow though...

good thing those front bars are flexible plastic stuff, could have been a whole worse, anyway if that GTR34 doesnt help name him as the offender and you wont pay an excess for insurance repair

How is it another drivers fault you ended up in a ditch? If you were at a safe distance from him or travelling at a safe speed to suit conditions it wouldn't have happened. Simple.

Wasn't doing a stupid speed as I have Chinese tyres, was 3 or so car lengths behind, probably should have been more. But still, if he didn't lose it then that wouldn't have happened.

Hey guys, going to lock this thread as I've put a discussion one up.

I don't think arguing about fault is going to help much at this stage -both drivers made a mistake that unfortunately resulted in an accident. On the plus side nobody was hurt and there was minimal damage to both cars.
