Looks like you had more light for the shoot than me Jamie. Here's a few that Ross took. By gargoyle123 at 2011-09-01 By gargoyle123 at 2011-09-01 By gargoyle123 at 2011-09-01 By gargoyle123 at 2011-09-01 By gargoyle123 at 2011-09-01
Thanks for all the submissions everyone! I've got a few updates and a few comments to reply to. In regards to having more than one car in a submitted photo: Col made a good point regarding the quality of that image, but as for the reason for not having more than one car in a photo doesn't really have anything to do with permissions, its the overall appearance of the calendar. If 1 out of 12 months randomly has two cars in it, then that would be odd. But also its about rewarding people for the hard work they have put into their cars by giving them a month of their own to show it off nicely. In regards to TwinZ's submission: Not so..."Submissions are open to Aus300zx.com registered member cars only." As per a clarification from the first year, we opened it up to non-australian residents, we had two submissions last year from the US. Lastly, after quite a few requestions and with a few other reasons to go with it, I've extended the submission deadline for a further 3 weeks! With some nicer weather coming through this should give any fence sitters no excesses to get some new photos of their pride and joy! :zlove: I was originally planning a one week extension but I'm about to move house and will have limited internet access through the middle of September, so thought it'd just be easier to give that little bit more time! EXTENDED SUBMISSION DATE IS NOW SEPTEMBER 25th (EOD) If you have any questions please just PM / email me Cheers, Andrew
Hey John, That shot with the trees in the background looks the goods tho m8! Maybe tee up another time with Ross. He found a great location down my way and it's a lot closer for him too... (not the same location as mine) I'll pm u the location details!
Alright, took me a lot of treacherous off-roading to get these shots. would sure suck if they weren't chosen...heh  :zlove: now I think of it, my camera's pretty poor
Yeah, if one of these photos is chosen for the calendar I'll go out there again and replicate the photo on my old man's 14mp camera and resubmit. Man there're some nice Zs out there, we should be freakin proud
gargs I think I'm finally understanding just what the hell you have been doing to your 2+2, this picture is the straight dope hi res? pm?

WOW!! Gargs i have to say mate If you weren't happy with the weather conditions on the day of the shoot fear not, that is honestly one of the best photo's I have ever seen car or not simply fantastic , and to all the other guy's pics great work should be an outstanding calendar
My submission...at this stage these are the best pics Ive got..anything is better than nothing i suppose...if i get some better ones before the closing date..ill post them...
Please disregard th pics that I submitted previously. the following are my submission for the calendar:
I really like this one! Quite a nice background although the sun appears a tad harsh. No offence intended but I believe there are area's in the other photo's such as the front and rear bumper's that are a tad soft. They are top results for a beginner though! Especially considering your not using an SLR. Cheers, Jamie
Hey Guys - Now I have a dilemma - My pics are only 2592x1936 - But none are noisy or bad - here they are - but let me know if they are too bad quality :zlove:
