Just like previous years, it will be left to a voting process to determine who makes it into the final calendar. Votes from the people who have committed to purchasing a calendar will be submitted via PM to keep the suspense as to which cars are featured. - Again I will be making a donation from the proceeds of every calendar sold back to the forum - As always, there will have to be a tight deadline so that the calendars can be sent out in November. For sale information will be available shortly in the For Sale section, so please keep checking back for it. Submission requirements: * Image Quality - Please ONLY submit images that have a high image quality. Images from mobile phones and low quality cameras can't be accepted as they will not print well. * Image Size - Please again ONLY submit images which have an original file size of at least 3000x2000 pixels (thats a 6mega pixel camera) and are in landscape (horizontal) format. * No. of Images - To keep things tidy, can each owner only submit a maximum of 4 images of each car. * Posting Images - When posting your images, please resize them to roughly 800x533 pixels so the thread can remain viewable for low bandwidth users. Images must be unedited within reason * Important Information - Any image submitted MUST be authorised for use in a comercial environment. Images taken by third parties must be approved before they can be used. All rights must be waivered for use in the calendar. * Images submitted must be of an individual car, group shots can't be used. * Submissions are open to Aus300zx.com registered member cars only. * Images must be DIFFERENT to those used in previous calendars to provide positive variety. * Selection Process - once submissions close, members who are purchasing the calendar will get to vote for their top 12 cars. The top 12 overall will then go to the next stage last updated 06/07/11 Note: Once submissions close, a RAW (un-modified) version of the images submitted must be sent or emailed for inclusion in the final selection process. Images may be edited once submitted as seen fit for use in the calendar. Cheers, Andrew *For those wanting some high quality images taken of their car for submission in the calendar (or just for personal use), I will be offering a photographic service throughout Victoria for a reasonable fee.
I'm definitely in for this! Any specifics on the deadline yet? I don't really intend on submitting my car again, but if I manage to get a shot of my zed with WA plates on and the Perth skyline in the background I don't think I'll be able to help myself:zlove:
so unlike last year, can i submit a picture of my car without exhaust? because thats the picture i want in it? or will it not be allowed again?
Another ANDREW KRAUSE project! Exciting! Question: When we say "images must be unedited within reason", what does that actually mean? Can that be elaborated further? AAA :zlove:
No super imposing elephants in the background, but if your paint is dogsh!t a bit of clone stamping is ok?
Fark it, i think i might go out and get some glamour shots again to submit for it. Last calendar had the old yucky 3 spoke rims and no roof wing. When i get her running again in the next couple of weeks i'll shine her up and submit some piccies to see how it goes. Always love your work on these calendars too Andrew! Just brilliant mate!
Benny, your beautiful blue beast is DQd ...must be up and running ...lol. Many thanks to Awesome Andrew for once again taking on this massive task.
I have no issues with you submitting photos for the calendar Rod, but its not a good look having an incomplete car photo in a calendar...not everyone who buys the calendar is part of this forum (obviously the majority are), but if they saw the top 12 cars with one of them missing an exhaust, its a bad look for the calendar...if you can take photos from other angles that give the impression that the car is finished then that'd be great. Yes, basically i'd prefer not to have images photochopped to the max, touch-ups to paintwork etc is fine. At the end of the day I'll need an original/RAW file if its selected so I can put my own tweeks to the image for adding to the calendar.
it has side pipes? going to submit anyways, one picture, if it gets voted in, does it stay haha, or will you remove it?
Well I'll definitely be in for taking some new shots of my zed...was too busy last year to do it...Vote RENZED, you know you wanna :zlove:
Agree with Baz 100%! Keen as to see the new calendar. I'll be purchasing one for the shed and also entering the new zed for possible calendar submission! When do entries for photo submissions close Krausy?
Didnt get to put any pics last year...keen to get some pics taken and submitted...andrew can you pm me details about getting some shots taken thanks Abraham
If you are welcome to the idea of a stock zed. i may have mine ready this year. ill need a deadline to work to tho.
By this he means a stock zed that literally looks like its rolled off the showroom floor. Stock stereo, stock wheels the whole shebang:zlove:
