hahaha. They are stock rims in orange, anyone who hasnt seen/nor appreciate the jdm scene will hate on it. Its just a style, one that i like. My main rims are going back on so dont stress too much lol. This is just a fun change for now.
"JDM" has got to be one of the most abused phrases on car forums these days. What on earth makes orange stockies qualify as JDM?
This isn't 'JDM scene' whatever you think that means, didnt it come from the drift scene? I know what your trying to do. But your doing it wrong you dont paint stockies
agree with mikey. just because they are orange doesnt make them JDM for a split second? if the drift pig look! personally i love it, on a pair of 57D's in pink or blue te37's. but orange stockies, now talk of rota's? this is all kinds of fail. f**k your fake wheels.
TE37's look good in almost any colour I think! Great wheels these. Was thinking of getting a gold set actually.
murci im with you mate, I just picked up a 4 litre tin or this colour from work, yes 4 litre overkill but mad for random things. just like my mates r32 stock rims.
Haha cool! Another guy made a thread about painting his cos he saw mine. Love the haters above... but i do my own thing
as you say its not for daily but its still funky. there is a beamer around my area that wears lime green shoes permanently his car is a piece of shit though so he gets away with it.
exactly, thats USDM, not JDM. Roof racks are another style cue lifted from a car modifying scene they dont understand. Roof racks and luggage carriers were cool on air cooled veedubs which is where the trend likely originated. in the veedub circles they frown on roof racks etc on watercooled cars of the 80's etc, but the trend continued with the younger internet crew, then went to bmw's and civics. I was really hoping the rusted bonnet and roof rack trend wouldnt make it to 300zx's but it looks like its not far off. Its not cool and there is nothing JDM about a obviously US modified 300zx with painted 37's and crappy roof racks
