    Yes i know

But he seems to be having some sort of problem, "Which makes him think he's been sent the wrong springs" I doubt he has them on the upside down, but you never know.

A useful place to go for feedback is

    http://www.fsport.com.au/fsport_siteroot/tyretech.html

and scroll down to "Improve your cars handling".

I also have a copy of Carrol Smith's diagnosis handbook which I can scan and post if one of the tech-heads on the list can tell me how !!

The smallest diameter coil is at the bottom. Like Chrispy said they only fit one way.

I agree, they look waaay too compressed - ie too many coils sitting hard up against one another. Did you install them on the shocks yourself using spring compressors or did you get a workshop to do it? Did they look like that off the shock? When i put mine on it took a bit of compressing but nowhere near that much, that was with the eibach/kyb combo

Every set of lowered springs I've put onto shocks I haven't had to compress the springs with a compressor to get the top plate on.

Maybe these springs are a new design?

I installed them and yes they did need to be compressed a lot to get them in. This is them before the install.

are they the .8 inch lower than stock eibachs yeah? Mine took a little bit of compression to get them on those same shocks you have there, but not nearly as much as it took to get the stock ones off the old shocks (to reuse the top plate on either the front or rear...can't remember). But thinking back on it now...i can't remember ever looking at them compressed under the car?? They looked about the same as yours do with the suspension slack but yeah...I sold all mine off to Hyper101 so maybe ask him when he puts them on the red car and see if he can get a picture
