Home again after a fantastic weekend. Lots of fantastic people Lots of fantastic cars Many thanks to Karl and Graham for fantastic organization. Plenty to do and never a dull moment. Dinners and cruises went like clockwork.
Got home finally ! !! Discovered the worse way to take of you have 20" rims.... :O Jesus I'm sore! Hope to see everyone else's posts up here later, I'll post some pics etc soon
What a weekend! not long home after calling in to mum and dads to pick up my dog. I'm worn out but had a great weekend. A lot of you i have met before but it was great to meet the rest of you I may attempt to put up some pics later but now i think i want food.
Just a couple of shots from the Aviation Museum grounds. they let us park on the grassed area for the Photo Op, shame the gras was not mowed. Andew and Jess, having a great time. On to Lime Grove Cafe for lunch. The short "5 min" drive was accomplished in 3 minutes and under. The food was great and Suzie the host gave us a talk about the setting up of the Lime growing industry. They have 10,000 trees to harvest at this time of year, so we were out of there before we were given a job. The driveway was a 200m gravel road, so everyone was driving so careful. Probably the slowest those cars have been driven The drive to Parks was brisk, averaging 120kph till we met up with the Newell highway. 105kph to the telescope turnoff. Lucky we did as 5 mins along the highway we passes the highway patrol. We got a nice smile from them as they drove past the snake of Zeds We had afternoon tea (scones, Jam, and cream, with tea/coffee). Got everyone lined up for the group photo. Time was getting on so we made our way back to Dubbo for the Cruise Dinner. Some of the guys tested out the handling on the corners back to the highway Kitty couldn't catch the turbo guys, but we had a fun time trying More pics later.
Such a good weekend!! Many thanks to 90TTZ and Gmbrezzo and everyone else that contributed, and definitely a big thank you to Paul and Janni for hosting us on the way out and the way back. I'm exhausted, made a whole bunch of new mates and I don't think I've ever laughed at a drunk person so much ( you know who you are Ryan) Also my first zedfest and I'm stoked (I'm sure Dean is too) that we each won an award So many thanks for a great weekend everyone!!! Pics to follow -Mikey
^^^ what Mikey said. Massive thanks to everyone, one of the most epic weekends of my life. So glad I still came even if I couldn't drive there.
Just a few pics from the Cruise dinner. I'm not going to put names to the pics as I know the real names, but not the forum names of everyone. The dinner was great and the staff at the West Dubbo Bowling club looked after us soooo well. A very fitting end to a fantastic day.
 I don't wish to embarrass anyone but I couldn't help but notice there is a need for 'new jeans' in the first pic above.
back in one piece. learnt so much and met many of the faces behind the names. such a great time!!! Karl & Graham did an excellent job preparing zedfest
Just got home myself back to bum-fark Greenmount, Qld. What can i say, yet another brilliant weekend with awesome Zeds and even more awesome people! :zlove: Also such a great change for seeing so many newer members attending this time aswell as some of the older faces. Graham and Karl have combined forces to orchestrate such a finely tuned weekend, and they should both be very proud of themselves. Everyone enjoyed pretty much everything about the entire weekend. But i guess it all just comes down to the fact that all these awesome people are together for a few days that have common interests. Very much looking forward to the next one indeed. It's so far away, and i doubt i'll be making it down to Phillip Island for the Nationals next year, so i've got some time to do some body work to my blue beast in the next couple of years to bring it up to scratch again after my last year of "Hard Luck" Once again, it was just such a delight seeing all my old friends again, aswell as making a stack of new friends too! :zlove: Ok then, time for a beer now me thinks! Cheers, Benny.
Sunday, pics. Well, I crashed Saturday night. Next thing I know, Frysie was knocking on the door. "C'mon get up we have to wash these cars". Ugh... daylight already? Lucky the car wash was only a block away from the motel. Karl (90TTZ) getting his car judged. I had to ham it up and chase Karl for his autograph Wonder what this will bring on Ebay ? Kitty even made it into the line up. Dinoz hard at work as one of the judges. A VERY hard job as so many cars in fantastic condition.
Please, Sir, can I have some MOAR!?? I mean it, I can't get enough of these pics! ... it feels like . . . family? It is also a good reminder that I have a LOT of work to do to bring my car up to scratch if ever I was to show up to one of these events. SPECTACULAR RIDES!

Just got home too... what a weekend! so many good peoples!........ In desperate need of another beer but gots no Drinkin buddy with Reek or Benny -Scotty
Was great to see some new crew, especially NSW crew (as I'm to lazy to turn up to tech days as the zed isn't registered these days ) and finally to meet Rennee, Craig and Andrew from VIC. Was especially good to see a mix of different styles at zedfest this year, and pretty much every car in such fantastic condition. Bring on the Nats next year and zedfest the year after, hopefully I have something to show at both!! Oh and thanks the Haylz for giving me a zed fix over the weekend!!
