Great weekend and so much fun. Well organised Karl and Graham. Z owners are great company, great fun, love their cars and don't mind sharing their knowledge.

I will post up some photos in the next few days.

So much looking forward to the next Zedfest.

And I promise that will have my squeaky brakes fixed by then!!!!!

Well what an absolutely FANTASTIC weekend :D:D:D

I was sooo excited about going to my first Zedfest and it was EVERYTHING I was expecting!! I would really like to thank Karl and Graham for all the work you guys did for organising this event, it was perfect :zlove::zlove::zlove:

I'm so glad I finally got to meet a lot of the zedders from interstate and I'm sorry if I forgot your name

Benny_C - Man you can drink LOL...every time I saw you, you had a beer in hand...hope I didn't bore you too much on Sat night..with me ranting on about Uni lol..

AndyMac - Great to meet you and still can't believe you went swimming...BBbbrrr

Zoe NZX300 - Joe I know I have said it a million times already...but your car is just STUNNING..can't believe how perfect it is..that is truly dedication to the zed!

Hopefully Craig will put some photos up over the week..he has about a thousand to go through:rofl:

Glad to hear that everyone has got home safely :)

Anyways, I'm off to bed...absolutely buggered too much driving!!

I certainly got a few stern looks from the boys in blue at Wellington on the way back when I had to stop for a RBT. I think I managed the quietest stop all weekend and it was still as loud as hell !!!!

    Great Weekend (dial unfriendly)

So great to meet all the new members and catch up with the old ones. Despite being a member for 12+ years, I've been a bit quiet on here for the last 3 or 4 so it was good to have a chance to meet everyone. Talk about a mix of styles and condition of Z's.

Will post up more pics later once I have a chance to go through, but here are a few (note they are all unmodified so dial up beware :))

so here is my weekend write up. Appologies about picture quality for some of the below.

The weekend started on friday morning early.
Get Zeddy ready, pack her up with luggage and drive to Yass to rendezvous with the rest of ACT crew.

From Yass we met cruised north towards Molong. Pulling in for a brief fuel stop where we all met a rather inconciderate UTE driver who decided to cut the fuel que to fill up a boat, his car and 5 jerry cans with the ONLY 98oct bowser there!!!.

After we finally hit the road we made it to Molong where we caught up with the Sydney Crew.

A very spirited drive to Dubbo from molong with the 11 of us saw speeds of....well, far above 110km/h . We pulled into dubbo at just the right time for GMBREZZO to get some great footage of us.
All of the groups (QLD, VIC and NSW) arriving within 30 mins of one another keeping GMBREZZO on his feet to film us all.

The first night saw some very tired Zedders, especially those from QLD and Victoria, so after the welcome dinner most had a early night with a big cruise planned ahead for the next day. that night though i was awaken quickly by my girlfriend Jess getting my attention at a addition to our room which i jumped to her air.

A VERY tight schedual and i was up to have some of the provided continental breakfast which was actually rather nice :D

with 26 Z32's leaving that morning in general (most to the zoo) some later to meet up with us. It was a great sight seeing a snake of ZX in the rear view from one corner to the next.[IMG]
We arrived at the Zoo to find that our 'PRIVATE PARKING' was more a alloted spot in a field. With most of us not having 4WD spec cars.
    screening up!
    [IMG][IMG]
KITTY came home to see some relatives:zlove:

After the zoo the group cruised (i use the term loosely) to the air field.

How do I fit this into the car ;) 1600bhp
    [IMG]
    Got Gauges?

Dinner at the bowls club was great and really nice. Where i think i finally found my appetite polishing off alot of plates :)
Everyone that night i think had some form of drinks. I even found another use for my spoiler (veilside CII wing).

Sunday unfortunately i didnt get any pictures but i know there will be plenty put up of our show and shine and the fine cars on example.

The presentation/farewell dinner was again fantastic!
Karl (90TTZ) cleaned up! Joe like usual also dragged home some gold.
The night also saw a nice tribute to Angry Bear with the announcement of a award in his honour.
Also a announcement or one of our very valued mods stepping down and passing on the reigns to a new mod.
90TTZ you will be missed but we will all see you still on the forum. GMBREZZO im sure you will fill the position very well and to the best of your ability and aid the Z community greatly.

IN total what a brilliant weekend. I said this when i recieved my award and i will saw it again. THERE IS NO COMMUNITY LIKE THE ZX COMMUNITY. Its so fantastic to come together and meet you all again and some for the first time. Like minded people with the same goal and love. Leaving monday morning was a sad experience.

Zeddy was very happy with her award, ive left her in the garage tonight nersing it:zlove::zlove:

however. Mikey555 suffered some vandalism over the weekend haha *cough*

Guess my spoiler isnt the only car addition to have a alternative use ;)

I can not wait for 2 years time to pass.

Jess, also enjoyed meeting every single one of you and now understands why i rant and rave about the ZX community and our amazing cars. She even wants one herself now eventually haha.
She wanted me to extend a very heartfelt thankyou to everyone that made her feel welcome and like she fit into the Z family and that shared a bit of information and knowledge with her.
She literally got home and seems more excited to meet up with you all at phillip island then i do next year haha :)

BIG thankyou to GMBREZZO and 90TTZ for all the hard work organising and setting this event up. :) :zlove:

    Boner crew forever! ;)

Loved your trick with the 300zx "Alarm" clock wake call. ;)
Back the zed up to the door, open the hatch, and a big 'ol blasts of Doof Doof music.
Benny_C and I were rolling on the floor laughing.
The guys in the room were not quite so happy.
All part of the fun weekend. :zlove:

Guys - Its been said over and over - but I had a great weekend - Even if I do end up zedless, ill probably end up tagging along to the next as a passenger and keeping my out for a mint TT to buy in the long run..

Thanks to 90TTZ and Gmbrezzo for the epic weekend - well planned and executed :zlove:

Thanks so much for keeping the shots coming! The level of detail put into some of your rides is sTAgGerINg! If ever there is a function I can make it to I think maybe I'll just take a hire car to save the embarrassment.

Smurf, those under bonnet shots are just awesome! As much as the bling is ruling the show I have to say that MNT 300 looks freaking dope(who is the owner?)!

Loved the write-up, Procky, could read more of them all day!

Andrew..correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Jess was your fiancée, not girlfriend :p:p:p

Don't know about everyone else, but I was feeling a bit vague on Sunday morning post the 2 bottles of moscato lol...Craig's little bro (Andrew), couldn't stay seated without having the room spinning (was a funny sight to see)

Was great meeting heaps of new people, I'm not the biggest fan of the NDSOC Nationals...but I guess Craig and I will be going since there are a heap of people wanting to go from interstate...now just gotta convince the boss for it off next year ;)

Joe's (NZX300) also got an award which I think was a second Hotel's choice as they thought it deserved it (as did everyone else). Talk about commitment to detail on his Z!

Maybe try "This is Craig, my bitch" :)

So good to meet both of you. I didn't get around to asking what Craig did for a living. He looked really familiar and was wondering if he was a web developer etc. who I might have come across at WebDU or some similar conference.
