I will call the hotel and pay this week.

I spoke to Leigh aswell and he said he'll be going and I have offered the spare bed in my room to him if he likes, he said he will likely take me up on the offer!

Question is:

If I pay upfront for 2 people in the room is it possible to pay the extra when we get there to have additional people or does it all need to be sorted prior to this?

Hey Karl.
Whats the deal with having to pay a deposit?
I spoke to them a few weeks back and the guy only wanted my credit card details, i did ask if he needed a deposit, but said not till i get there.

Please advise on the best coarse of action.

I was originally told that we all needed to pay a 50% deposit since we were booking the entire place out. If they told you different then go with it as they have marked your name off as confirmed.

 

Not sure Adam, best to call them and find out (I don't run the hotel ). I would say it would be fine to pay the extra people when you get there as a single booking is enough to secure the room.

All done, she just took my details and credit card as the booking, didn't require a deposit.

She said that if extra people are staying in the room that can be payed for and organised when we arrive.

Oh wait...it started in Feb 2011 (that's right I was stressed out finishing uni stuff and organising my wedding)

Better add RENZED & R31 Gagz onto the list...will obviously need to discuss this with Craig first lol...and we'd both have to get leave approved, but I've always wanted to attend a ZedFest...and since Uni has been put on hold I think I should well and truly be up for this!! :zlove::zlove:

Yep, definitely up for this pending leave approval (shouldnt be too hard this far away )...last time I stayed away for a Z event was the 2007 Nissan Datsun Nationals on Phillip Island...what an awesome weekend that was, even got to drive my ex-R32 GTR on Phillip Island raceway (max 70kmph at lunch time though since I wasn't competing )...I bet Doug (red32) still shakes his head at me "warming the tyres" LOL :rofl:

A good friend of mine is supposed to be taking a part time manager position at the venue soon, so I'll see if we can get some special treatment

For anyone not familiar with the area there is a mall and a Dan Murphy's on the same block so you need not stray far for supplies. And there are some guys who think their POS Integras run the place, should be worn a lauh at the lights lol

I'm in, might get a room or might stay at the gf's...
