AUS ZedFest 2012, 6th-8th April

Well it's come that time again to start planning our biannual event. Next year the location will be Dubbo! Hopefully this venue is far enough south to persuade our Victorian Brethren to join us

I've done some digging around and found a really nice motel with ground level rooms, ample parking to also host our show and shine and a restaurant with separate function room for exclusive dinning and presentation night.

Pricing at this stage although may rise slightly are $115 + $21 each adult per night (so two people would be $68 each, etc) and $125 for deluxe room.

Please note this motel has 28 rooms which should do us nicely. Remember we NEED to book all of these rooms to prevent incidents in the past where some of the night owls annoy other guests of the establishment. Basically if we book out the motel, we have house rules It is also this reason why caravan parks are being avoided. The Coonabarrabran event went relatively care free because over 90% of the motel was booked by us. I don't know of any of us with caravans hence why we should stick with venues that exclude such accessories

Anyway, this is an expression of interest. Please post here ASAP if you will definitely attend this event, do not book at the motel at this stage.

Echo'ing Benny, definititely come along... It's an awesome weekend, with awesome cars, awesome fun, and (more importantly) awesome people.

We'd love to meet a South Aussie contingent, and if you're prepared to do the Km's to join us, how could we not welcome you guys!

 

Staying with the whole crew is perhaps the best part of the weekend, but knowing that you're at Uni (and that's code for "I've bugger all money"), can definitely understand your wanting to save the $$$...

But if you find you can afford it, definitely worth the non-driving-related shenanigans...
