she could get done for, like 2 counts of manslaughter, speeding, dangerous driving, there would have been at least 2 people not wearing seatbelts and causing grevious bodily harm etc etc. Just because her friends died should not be a get out of jail free card and everyone feel sorry for her. She should be locked up for many years, and I dont care how much shes sorry or puts on the waterworks, 2 people are DEAD and it is a fluke the rest didn't.

If she only just got her licence back, it prooves she was a dangerous driver before, does not learn from her mistakes, and hopefully now at least gets banned from driving for life. Some people should not have the privilege (if she has any concious she probably wouldn't want to get behind the wheel again anyway). I agree, if she doesn't go to jail for this than our legal system is majorly fudged up.

 

one of the girls who died (chanelle metcalfe) is my cousin, yes it was a stupid idea for 6 of them to get in the car but in the end even if there was 4 it was still the driver who was driving like a ****en dick head. our family does take responsibility for her actions and obviously so did she( death), the driver was told so many times to slow down so dont say they didnt care more like she didnt care. obviously you have all heard maria is in jail now and i couldnt be more happier.

Why is it obvious to you, that we have all heard that the driver is now in gaol(because that is not necessarily common knowledge).

You f#$king DH chili...maybe he's only just come to terms with loosing his cousin and thought he might let others know that the person responsible had gone to jail whether it was common knowledge or not (since the court case did only come to a close recently)...that the legal system is still working...to an extent. And that not all the girls had been "idiotic" or "deserved it" as he stated the driver had been told numerous times to slow down.

Stop being so bloody critical of everyone and every single word they utter. :nono:

You can get stuffed Craig! I am not the only one who questions why this bloke joined the forum only days ago(seemingly just to dig-up this long buried thread).
I personally find his suspected motives highly insulting, as I believe he intended to somehow associate the unfortunate loss of life, with the fact that we as a group, own 300ZX's(and therefore place some form of guilt trip on us). Why he is of the opinion that we would be fully aware of the final outcome, is beyond my comprehension.

Old mate more than likely just googled his cousins name and found this thread. As you would NOW know this only recently resolved in the court system. As part of their greiving process or whatever they just wanted to add their 2 cents to the topic.

The poster who dug up this thread never blamed the car or even remotely suggested anyone but the driver is guilty. I think you should have a little time out from these forums, you're losing your mind.
