Yes optimisation is always a good idea, but will not negate effects will it.

If you go back and read and digest you will see I said Turbo/cam combination but using your own words.

 

OS Giken Also make a gear set for our boxes. Bit cheaper than a PPG set and top quality as well. Bit harder to find locally though.

Don't expect over night parts either as most are manufactured as ordered. PPG has an easy 3 month waiting list for one off purchases.

My engine has made 405RWKW, 28RS Turbos, Stock Cams, 98RON.

An engine I recently built and tuned for a customer has made the highest power for GT28R (2560) Turbos on stock cams and 98RON (what I am aware of anyway).

As Black Beast has mentioned time and again, it's all in the way you remove the restrictions which valve timing is only a factor and not absolute.

What he can probably offer better then Gavin Wood is a more personalised service, and again what he can probably offer, is high end presentation with high end performance, that is something not available everywhere.

What I said was I think Karl could offer a more personalised service.

And one of Karl's strengths is high end finish, and now that you mention it, it is something that GW doesn't concentrate on.

I looked at Hulk's garage and saw the kind of thing he is in to and thought Karl would be a great guy to partner with.
