Can't hold a job or a lease for longer than 6 months.
This in itself says a lot about the person you are.

52k is not a lot for a 30 year old, Wayne. I am 20 and I almost make that while I'm studying.

In fact theres a receipt floating around Noels house from a workshop for a twin turbo conversion on a car he bought, $6000 in labour.

oh god, dude, there is a big difference between a job done for a grand and a job done for 4 grand.

I'm not complaining about second hand parts, the gearbox yes, because its not that crash hot! but most of the other parts that i've paid for, honestly have been parts that come up as freebies on the forum, so my argument is noel has made some good coin off me for those parts that he had that he used.

all the parts that were important were bought new, and that was the good part about Noels work, he made sure I bought a lot of new gear that is important for it to be in good condition, but I paid for all of those parts seperately and arent incurred in noels cost. does that make sense?

I'm not saying he is completely incompetant at what he did. but he was really untidy with some things that have caused issues with the final product.

I never wanted to make this an attack against noel, But i'm not going to sit here and type' NOel has done a fantastic bang up job' when he really hasnt in some regards to his work.

out of all the problems that I have with the ZEd at present, he texts me telling me about the plug at the back of teh boost controller. LIke THAT is the thing that stops me from sleeping at night with the zed at present, to me that is just FUll RETARD... ok i've got a possibly ****ed block and screwed injectors, maybe a dodgy ecu and many other important issues, so he decides to text me about a ****ing Vac hose Socket??

    Oh, Ok Cheers man o0

why couldnt he just do a compression test like i asked him and source me a decent engine, it wouldnt have been hard to go around comp testing a few blocks to find a good one, then we could have moved on from there.

its all a learngin curve man. He would have learnt a lot over the past 5 months about a lot of things, even dealing with people.

Pay the $400 you owe, and call it quits.
You want it to be over, do the right thing.

what is this? a pissing contest?

How does trying to get a ****ing zed on the road turn into a social experiment on 'who i am'
doesnt this say more about 'who you all are?'

this is important to this conversation how?

I have a ****ed zed sitting outside with damage and a bunch of serious issues, and you are telling me to 'do the right thing'?

    mr zed x chassis scrubbin..

    lols.

best part of this thread is when you realise lico is an interpreter, fights between sowildzx and captain full retard, why keep pushing shit uphill? are you someway out of pocket?

moral of the story, take your car to a WORKSHOP.
backyard mechanics always end up in disaster, bytech is a prime example.

unsure why you would even start a zed thats been sitting for 6 months without checking / replacing the fuel anyways, or why you would pay 4k and expect miracles for a TT swap.

    /full retards all round!

Did you REALLY ask for a compression test? You didn't even consider testing the compression until you were told to in this thread. If you asked for a comp test and didn't get one, why would you purchase the engine?

not sure if that is for or againt me,

but i did tell noel not to start it, i dont have a water temp gauge set up.
he said he'll start it just to see if it cranks, then after that he goes hooning around in it while its got no fuel in the tank, then rings me up telling me it 'boosts fine and drives well'
i get there and the thing is farked. probably because he drove it with no fuel in the tank.
he never did anything i asked him and i personally wouldnt have driven the car 5 mintues after it started especially with no water temp.

How's the forum ass raping going? got all that sorted yet? ;)

Are you seriously still this uninformed and stupid?

You can't just go around "doing compression tests on blocks" they need to be a fully assembled motor with intake manifold sealed and with a gearbox/flywheel (or empty bellhousing) attached to it.

And these magical "blocks" that are jsut lieing around everywhere in cars or fully set up on test benches to be comp tested are NOT $500.

They are 2000-2500 tested at workshops. You paid for a "working" motor for $500 and that's exactly what you got.

Noel is an engine builder by trade and works every day at an engine reco shop, he OFFERED TO PULL THE MOTOR DOWN AND AT LEAST CHECK THE CONDITION. You could have got this for next to nothing but refused since you live in fairy land and everything will work perfectly on 24 year old cars for you and oh well if it doesn't you can just cry on the forums and give yourself something to do in your sad lonely existence.

Yes I did, and noel said it would be too hard to do with the engine out.

I've been burnt several times with buying cars, (mostly old 4 cylinders) and they all needed new engines, but they usually only cost 800 installed.

I asked Noel a few times and he said its all good , that 'it came out of a running Zed' then he said once the thing was in and farked 'it could have been sitting around for 5 years for all we know'

thats not a running zed man. Como'n, who's the full retard here?

He is a liar, he refused one and we didn't do one until it was in the car, while troubleshootnig after the install. I could have told him the comp results of the motor off the top of my head lol.

Rod, he couldn't afford backyard rates nevermind a workshop that would have cost him $10k for all the work we did.

Yes it is a running zed.

Yes it did come out of a running zed.

    Your block is not "****ed".

You don't even understand how compression works you ****ing goober, if it was reall low on compression (it wasn't, it's still fine) then you would at worst need new PISTON RINGS. The block would not be "farked".

What do you even think you mean by "the block is ****ed"? You're a ****ing child trying to argue with people who actually know what they're talking about and do t for a living.

i'm a desperate man, I need the zed going. I don't want to borrow my mates car forever... plus if noel was truthfull and it was out of a running zed, as in, it was running last week, not 5 weeks ago, then i should have no reason to doubt his word, unless he is dodgy....

I just realised who you are Lico... Hows the coilovers -_-
