    Finally took the plunge!

Took the drill, permanent marker etc etc down to the Licensing branch on the way to work, out with the old and in with the new. Had to drill holes into the front one, but the rear was a perfect fit.

The rear (obviously still in packaging) - standard size

    And the front - slimline

    Seriously?

What starts out as a simple ride height adjustment turns into this:

Nearly every time I set out to do something simple my clean carport turns into what you see above. How many of you know this scene and live it weekly? I took an inventory of my backyard and storage shed and noticed that nearly every single item was Z related to an extent, whether it be a tool or a part, ramps, jacks, stands, paints, lubes, etc. Even my motorcycles have become storage space/benches for Z parts! :( Am I the only one that this happens to?

Cleaned up the rear centre panel!

All the scratches on the back panel have annoyed me since I bought the car, couldn't be happier with the result.

using 1500-2000 grit wet and dry and meguiars plastx.

    I put her in storage.

Sitting down to lunch when I get a knock on the door, "Special delivery" says the man that beckons me.

Open the crate to reveal this:

    Acid dipped block
    Bored and honed 20thou oversize
    Block machined
    Cleaned out water ways
    Main girdle dipped and machined

    Forged CP pistons/rings
    Eagle H-beam rods 1000HP
    ARP rod bolts
    ARP mains stud kit
    King bearings HP
Crank polished and balanced as well as rods
Modified oil pump for more flow and pressure
    New front/rear seal
    New welsh plugs

    All S/S cap screws

So I guess she's about to go up on blocks. Don't hold your breath on this being a quick project though as money is getting real tight because of how much I've already thrown into this car over the last 3 months.

You sure? Probably a blown fuse or fault in the system somewhere since abs was standard on almost every z32.
