I didnt really check till today...there is no light on my dash that says ABS when the key is turned...plus when i doing the evasive driving skill task, there was no ABS :( As i could see the difference with and without ABS in the other cars...would it be possible it was removed? Anyway i can check if my zed has/had ABS?

f firstly getting your ABS dashlight to come on with Ignition in the "on" position. 2 Fuses for the ABS- 15amp- feeds to the ABS Control Unit and ABS Actuator Unit and a 10amp, which feeds to the Dash ABS light.

Have you checked these fuses first?

Spent the best part of my only day off with Eric/ A2Zed underneath my 2+2, trying to replace a blown clutch line..... only to find that the Master Cylinder needs re-kitting.

The pleasant odour of some road kill I must have driven over while out in the sticks made for a pleasant addition to a failed mission.

Called painter.... respray in the NA STILL ISNT DONE. Coming onto 3 months now :(

Big thanks to Eric for taking a Sunday out to assist. His efforts are about the only positive outcome in my 300regret ownership today.

I had replaced all fuses in my zed a month or so back with glow up fuses....none are light up :(

I did have the key in "on" position but no ABS light :(

Have you checked to see if you have an ABS unit at all?

Check under the plastic behind your drivers seat for an abs pump, if there is nothing there it has either been removed or your zed is a very early 89 model that didn't have it from factory.

Behind the driver's seat under the trim, great big spidery looking thing with lots of little hard lines going in and out of it. Don't have any pictures handy.

ABS unit on a 2+0 is behind the drivers seat. There is a comprehensive ABS diagnostic in the owners manual for it. Recall that there is a fuse itself on the ABS unit.

Without the ABS dashlight, cannot go through the diagnostic sequence.

    Rob mine is a 2+0...

frysie i dont have that in my zed...as i got that boot trim off as i got my rear strut brace on and havnt modfied the trim piece to fit

It doesnt look like it has any holes drilled in that area of where it should be...plus the little box section that comes off the panel behind my drivers seat is solid and nothing there...

OZX...does that mean the pic that frysie posted up is for a 2+2? Anybody got a pic of what it looks in a 2+0?

My zed is a 92...so not sure whats going on here :(

frysie's pic is for a 2+2. 2+0 is same looking unit, different location. Trim piece directly behind drivers side seat has that velcro panel on it. Behind is the ABS unit. Dont know what kind of access the panel allows, or if you have to remove the trim piece for proper access

Cool thanks...ill have a look tommorow. If i remember correctly the last time i removed the velcro panel it was just a flat steel panel behind it...dont remember seeing anything there :(

Anybody got any pics of what it should be looking like on a 2+0? Like location or if i need to somehow remove the steel panel...

Just had a quick look...its not there :( There doesnt seem to be any holes or anything where it is meant to be :(

Plus when i removed the velcro panel...it is a steel section behind it that doesnt look like it can be removed and looks like it is part of the body

    Mitch Has one gear: GO

Pull the plastic 'bubble' off that sits beside the parcel shelf, you goose. It's under that.

Use a screwdriver to prise it up- there is a notch to make it easier in a few places along the parcel shelf side.
