I think it works for you because you're logged into your Microsoft Live account where as we aren't.

pulled the rear seats out to have the Vinyl trim behind the front seats re-trimmed. Cleaned inside of car thoroughly and went for a spin in the arvo. Put a smile on my dial since the car has been tuned, feels like a different car all together.

    Another go at photos....

    OEM 8.5" rear rims.

See if this works, good OL photobucket!!
In person IMO they look awesome. Really like the fat OEM look.
If these were available in 17 or 18" and 9-10" wide with that deep contoured concave look.....OH MAN.:bow2: IMO.

Going to get a pair for the front too Peter? That would be great.

    Hey Anti,

Thought about it for a bit but decided against it because:

I like the different effect between the fronts and rears.

    245 is an odd size and e x p e n s i v e. Like TOYOS T1R's are like 260 to 280 ea  Even got quoted >300:eek:
Anything less than a TOYO like Hexens? they are inferior. Can't get Bridgestone or BF Goodrich or Michelins in AU. In US yes but not here. I tried with Jax tyres who are the agents for them and they can't get them.
The only quality option was TOYO from Japan and they have very good reviews all over the web. So was quite happy to shell out for them. So far so good!!!

If you sit at the front of the car or the rear and draw a straight line from one end to the other, the rear wheels stick out a fair bit.

Love that look. FAT ARSE at rear, but all tucked in at the front like aerodynamic look.

Kind of reminds me of a prostitute with a short skirt bending over. OH NO DID I SAY THAT??

Hehe... sorry if I offended anyone.:zlove::br:

Im aware of that, i just thought anti harboured a deep hatred of anything inside the engine bay. I agree that e-fans are bad news, but theres got to be a combo that will work.

put a new steering wheel on, it's a momo nero and am still waiting to resolve the issue with the drivers side seat base, it's only been almost 3 months now.

Sounds lovely :D Be careful with those seat bolts...I managed to snap the head off of one of them, now have a headless bolt stuck in my rear seat :\
Those old bolts are useless, it's happened to me twice. I'd recommend you buy some from Nissan and replace the ones you remove.
    Or just...be careful ;)

All good, refitted today, like it came from the factory. Retrimmer was cheap and fast, only 1 day and as everyone probably has the same vinyl peeling, only.cost $40 per side.

Got bored today, so decided to give the white zed a power run before I put in the upgrades.

Current specs are: Manual VG30DETT stock motor with manual stock turbos, running 15psi, trust side mount coolers, cat back exhaust, drift pod filter and Auto gearbox running SAW. :D

Future Plans: Forged manual VG30DETT, GT2871R turbos, 850cc injectors, large side mounts, turbo back exhaust :br:

was it tuned or is that stock map?

What sort of power figures are you chasing?! And is it going to be a street car, or just a dyno queen? 2871's are pretty damn big turbo's....

Looking between 5-600hp. Mainly going to be a dyno queen with a few runs down the strip. I have my black zed as the daily street car.

I do have nistune in it loaded with the stock map. Wasn't going to worry about a tune until the new motor goes in. Mainly did this power run for a before and after comparison.

    Fair enough.
A pair of GT2860RS's should be able to make that power easily (well, 550hp easily, starting to push it around the 600 mark unless you're running e85), with less lag. Or even the new GTX2863R which ProckyZ is running, and they will provide significantly less lag than the 2871's.

I think if you want to consistently run up to 600hp you're gonna need the bigger turbos ie 2871R. Even then 600 is pushing it without race fuel.

Remember 550hp is over 400kw. The 2863R only juuuust get there

Maybe I have my conversions mixed up haha, but still, I was just comparing yours and prockys dyno sheets, and he seems to come on boost roughly 500rpm before you, and on full boost about 500rpm before.

Oh yeah with the GTX range and also smaller housing it will certainly boost faster, just won't be in the 600hp range that adz was referring to. Not without funny fuels anyway.

This post needs to be stickied...... how many times have we seen "what can i get with stock engine and turbos modded exhaust and extra boost?"
