    On the wifes 97TT

Fixed the central locking, found the switch on the drivers door had been burnt out due to a piss poor alarm installation at some stage prior to us getting it.

Started fitting a new alarm PROPERLY
Pain in the ass - I HATE ALARMS!
Still a couple of things like the boot release to sort out tomorrow.

Cream on the cherry. Yep. Going for that "smashed my t-tops, haven't sprayed the replacements yet" look.
    Pretty JDM.

got a lovely yellow accessory today.... totally gutted and not sure where I am going from here with my Z. so many mods on it and worse flaws that I have yet to get fixed not a show of getting them rectified in the appropriate time frames. Oh and for the ever going debate I am not sure turbo timers are worth a canary.

Defected for turbo timers? How and why!?!

cause they can... got pulled up and fined for excessive noise (thats debatable the exhaust shop says shes fine) and defected for a turbo timer. they took one look under the bonnet and freaked...... "ahhh this is a very heavily moddified engine isn't it" pointing at the twin throttle bodies. nope officer the engine is stock, I replied..... although nearly every thing else is not so I was trying very politely to not make a big fuss. Reality is the tension rod bushes have started to leak the power steering has had a leak in the past and has oil all over it, the sill seams have been crushed due to previous owners not jacking it correctly, the car's exhaust and skirts sit at 95mm, has no egr no AIV...... the list goes on and on and if they wanted to, there are other more legitimate reasons for defects. all things I am slowly trying to fix while on an apprentice wage and single income so slow going. ironiclly I was only driving the car due to the fact I had damaged my bumper and taken it to work to repair, so its lake of paint and complete in your faceness is probably why they pulled me over.

I got bored with all the sh!t weather we are having right now so I thought id have a crack at re-covering a steering wheel. This is my first attempt at hand stitching and while its not perfect Im happy with the progress so far.

Had no power since 1pm yesterday so I went and installed the bonnet struts in my zed.

Lucky we both have car chargers, otherwise we'd have no internets :(

On the positive side, work called, I am working from home 2moro :D

Took BOTH TTs to the track and had a blast

Found I now have to much grip in my blue car and anything less than 3/4 tank gets massive fuel surge :(
Overheated the brakes and had the pedal going to the floor on every session ha ha!! just pump them up early and they were fine - nothing wrong with no brakes at 240kph is there? ha ha!

The 97 went fine, only thing was a sticker fell off the spoke on one of the wheels, must have had crap glue, other than that perfect :D

Contemplating taking blue car in to work now for fuel surge tank construction, such a nice day though and far easier to be lazy and do nothing :)
