if you put one of these on your car, are there any legal complications? ie do you need an engineers certificate or something? will the insurance companies run from you? will you get a yellow sticker after popping the hood?
insurance can be a pita Most places wont touch you if you say meth/alcahol injection however they seem to be ok with water injection. Just cars would not insure it with meth injection but were happy with water injection. Water injection has been used on another car in a stock form, the model escapes me but i beleive it was a bmw of some kind.
yeah i was a bit worried about the legality issues and espically with insurance.. but glad to here just car accepts water injection.. just have to decide now weith i should make my own kit or buy a ready to go 1
Either way should be good Just make sure that when you buy the nozzles that you are getting ones to make a very fine mist. From what I understand the finer the mist the better. So no garden sprinkler heads
hahaha definatly not.. i think it is this finer the mist of water/ alcho it help with atomisation to create a good combustion mix
