NSW Wakefield Track Day 23/08/2014

Would love to go to this but wont have the car back on the road in time. Hopefully there will be more in the future.

Hopefully the weather clears up for the weekend. I will be there but i have no tyre to compete with :br:

Forcast is top of 14 with 70 percent of the rain (<1mm)
Even if it is pouring down ill still be on the track.

For people going bring a fuel can/drum. I have ran out of fuel on the track before. So it can happen even in a na.
Its like a 10? Minute drive back to goulburn for fuel/food/drinks.

Bad news. My sexy blue track weapon won't be there saturday....
Fortunately I have an amazing mother with a tt who is going to lend me her zed for the day

Tip, be gentle on the throttle coming on the straights, especially the final corner, not sure how much experience you have in a turbo car, but if it comes on boost mid exit and you're not ready for it, could get messy

 

Hoping I can find a lift with someone (Z's still dead). I'm over in the Northern Beaches, so if you are looking for a co-pilot for the day please let me know. I can drive to yours (have the Barina) as long as it's not an hour away

And Just a heads up for those that haven't been to Wakefield before: Its usually **** cold and windy, Sydney siders I would recommend dressing warm and then packing two extra jackets

Hey Twinner thank very much for the offer but I think I might sit this one out after all. It could be an opportunity to get my engine pulled apart again and then hopefully next time I can take my own car.
