[WA]-eoi- AHG Track, Motokhana Style Racing

Hey Guys

Im putting an EOI out there for some Motokhana style racing in the zed`s (or any car you wish). Based at the AHG driving center next to Perth Airport. I am looking for about a half dozen entries to complete my already half dozen eois to make complete a field of about a dozen.

What happens is they give you a driving instructor which guides you through one of four witches hat courses, then they let you free to do some hard safe driving on the courses by yourself. The course itself is a large concrete skinpan with various courses set up made out of whitches hats which changes throughout the event.

I cant see NA`s having any main disadvantages over TT`s in this style of racing so everyone can jump onboard, its all about the handling.

I did this on the weekend in an MR2 and it was a bit of fun. Not a great deal of time in the car though so this is a much better opportunity to get more time on track in a good car (our own)

Date: (Not yet booked) Plan for a Saturday in July.
Cost: About $80
Time: A morning or afternoon session of about 4 hours.

means i would have to buy a helmet n learn how to shift gears quicker... but in that small area i proly wouldnt even get on boost with my lag monster

Yeah it wont be out of 2nd gear, so a quick responce and hard braking and turning is a must.

No helmet is required as far as im aware.


Start writing down names guys for this eoi... i might limit it to 8 participants at the moment.

Btw, skidpan is bitumen, not concrete. Also we, as instructors are there to give you tips on being safer/faster - we're not really supposed to be there as your navigators around the course! haha

 

Absolutely mate Ill be phoning up this week. Big slab of flat stuff to drive on i ment. You cant go fast going the wrong way around the course.. i found that out.
