WA Cruise - Sunday 26 April

Everyone on the list has been sent a PM requesting details.

I spoke to the manager at the Hotel today, and even though I didn't actually book (requires $100 non-refundable), they can confirm they will be open, there will be enough staff to serve 25 to 50 of us (or even up to 75), and they don't currently have any other booking that clashes. Apparently they even have $15 steaks on Sundays! :drool:

Today we did a dry run, and I can tell you the following:

Leg 1: 16 minutes
Leg 2: 15 minutes
Leg 3: 18 minutes
Leg 4: 17 minutes

So we can round these all to 15 minutes each for ease of calculation.

So, meet at 12:00.
Leg 1 - leave at 12:15, arrive arround 12:30
Wait 15 minutes for stragglers
Leg 2 - leave at 12:45, arrive around 1:00
Wait 15 minutes for stragglers
Leg 3 - leave at 1:15, arrive around 1:30
Wait 15 minutes for stragglers
Leg 4 - leave at 1:45, arrive around 2:00
Lunch\light refreshments at own cost obviously.

I drove from home with a completely full tank and used a quarter of a tank for the whole day's outing - 160 Km's (from Port Kennedy).

Gah - looks like ill be having to pull out, was tinkering with my rear bar last night and i noticed my car seems to have developed a damn coolant leak and im going to severely doubt i can get it booked in anywhere early next week to be ready for the weekend - sigh

 

where's the leak coming from?

There was a massive leak from the back of the engine, but it hasn't re-appeared and there is a small one towards the front of the engine. *shrugs*
