I think my electrical issue might just be a simple earthing problem so if it's that, game on.

For earthing I got en ebay kit that has like 8 thick guage earthing wires off a gold disc shaped connector that goes to the battery (-). Cheap as. Works a treat.

Is anyone else taking a MiniDV cam? And would you be happy for me to grab your footage to do a master edit post event?

At something like this I want to get as much footage for all angles as possible.

Also does anyone have any in car/ on car camaera mounts?

Anyone thats not going happy to lend out such a mount?

Lastly, has anyone done any voice over work? Or even TV presentation style work? (either professionally or doing a media course), or know a hot chick that could be a presenter? lol

Given the length of the day, and the fact that EVERYONE will want footage of thier cars, Im thinking of going beyond the usual "3 minute montage" style edit, and doing a doco of the whole event. (running time prob between 15 and 30 minutes depending on footage)

Anyway... thats what i've got in mind. If anyone can help out with any of the above let me know.

this makes for a very boring video, unless you are giving your car shit and actually spin the wheels etc

i took a vid of the rotor boys MC day that had a few z's tag along and *yawn*

ended up making a nice clip of all the spins and slides but that was about it.

Even for a montage, the more footage the better.

 

Yeah i agree with ugame. A video with some incar footage would kickass.

 

Ill bring my cameras

I have a helmet cam that I usually tape to the car and a digital video camera... I'll probably need someone to volunteer an a camera operator though

 

if anyone pulls out let me know. word is i may still have a engine in my z

 

Zzz give the camera to WazTTed so he can stand at the sidelines and get some intense footage

I just bring the cameras and we can work out what to do with them on the day, lol!
