    red32 You talkin' to me?

Count so far... 3(?) Zeds and a Skyline (wtf, c'mon Blipster, get with the program)! I think we had 8 or 9 at Gilgandra, similar number at Goulburn (and a sky80), and 5 or 6 at Coona. Ironic isn't it that at the last few Berri shows, we have outnumbered the SA crew.

hmmmm, considering my zed will not even be there due to a licencing issue and it currently looking more stripped than the drift zed, no i cannot organise your zed tog et there, but since i wasn't going to miss another zed weekend after the great time at phillip island, i organised a lift with a fellow zedder and i get to party the whole weekend and not worry about driving anywhere

    Don't buy any

Of that Jedi, Your family is no different to mine, and there will be plenty of young ones there.
Iv'e been to the last two Zedfests and the last two Nissan nationals and i can tell you its one of the best weekends you can have away with your fellow Zedders.
The cruize there, meeting new faces and catching up with the old ones, checking out everyones ride, drinking lots of amber fluid and talking shit.
Should do it now while we can still afford petrol, few years from now none of us will be able to get enough money together for a gallon of petrol.

    well...

maybe families are families Ron, but with my old traditional italian family and my wifes hungarian family, being away on events that are essentially religous / family gatherings (ie; easter, christmas etc etc) is not looked upon lightly..:) If it was just a consideration of me, my wife and kiddies (if we had any..:)), then yeah it would be easy..... but we have to take into account our respective mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers etc etc..... it has always been this way, and always will be.

We got away last year and attended the Nationals.... but this year, we couldnt do it. Still, if all goes well, we are planning to go to the 2009 nationals...:)

    Cheers

    Understand

The family get together and the religious aspect of Easter perfectly and am all for it Mark.
The Zedfest was created as a national get together for like minded Zed owners, the easter break was considered best as it was four days duration and gave people from interstate time to get there and back home again.
Events will only prosper through participation, if interstate participents drop off then we are back to a state only event and back where we started.
How long after do you reckon before some bright spark suggests we have a national get together.
Anyway for those that are going, we'll have a great time, for those that aren't, hope you have a good time as well.:)

Jen amd I did the last QLD nats (along with RedZed Mikey). we then made it to Gillgandra, and Goulbourn but had to beg off for the last ZedFest. Will be at Cowra this year and already planning QLD next year. Personally I'd rather get away for a couple of days with a bunch of zedders then attend 10 night cruisers. Hanging out for a couple of days with people that share your passion is the ultimate in the church of Zedology. :bow2: :zlove:

Baz/Annette, I believe all you need is an understanding Medical Officer and an untraceable lower back pain, sore wrist, abdominal discomfort or recurring headache to be able to get Easter off! Even a "sprained" ankle may do the trick. Most, if not all, of these symptoms miraculously disappear after Easter (and it IS a festival celebrating miracles, after all!)
