man i soo wanna go to this, would have been my first tech day.
I'm going on an epic zed hunt this weekend, if i buy one, i'll definetly be coming!

yeh its gonna be mad fun. I reckon we dont have enough tech days in vic or even cruises. Im stockpiling new parts atm hoping to do one big overhaul all at once so for me tech days and cruises is really the only way to get zed fever out of my blood

 

anyone in the south east wanna meet up and cruise along the monash together?

 

man, why does everything fun have to happen when i'm zedless? i'm in the south east and i would deff come up for a fly around monash (even swing by Noble Park .. i joke, we all know it's dead now

anyone got a decent compressor they can bring down? i was doing a intake air leak test with caz's boost leak tester... couldn't even get the pressure guage to rise so i figure i got a leak somewhere (explains my crappy fuel economy and weird o2 sensor readings on datascan)... only problem is my compressor is one of those really small ones that runs off the ciggy lighter, it's really loud so i can't hear where the leak is
also i tried to remove the front bar, followed the tech article exactly and removed all the bolts/nuts but it still wouldn't come off.. was removing it so i could take a look at the intake pipes, also wanted to fit new horns... would anyone want to help me out?
oh and on a unrelated note.... i work at a liquor store...

 

Mate ill give you a hand for sure, ill be helping u with ur AIVs anyways so if u take the front bar off u might as well take the fenders off to make easier asscess. May not even need to jack the car if we do it that way. It will allow me to see how to remove the bar for myself just incase i need to one day for a future mod with the bar off.

i'll probably come along, i'm not sure what i'll have finished on my car but should have everything bar paint and kit done by then. still should be there to lend a hand tho!!

 

dont forget to everyone its a detailing day as well so if you dont have anything to work on for your car, u can always polish and wax her up.

 

yep (20% off beer this week... shameless plug ) and i'm gonna hide it somewhere until the end of the day... otherwise we won't get any work done.

hope the weather's good, i think it's high 30's next week... don't think you can detail in that kind of sunlight. if it is really hot I guess we'll all have to get there early and try to finish up before it gets too hot.

 

Oh shit yeh didnt think of that. Well ill be washing my baby before i come up, i probably wont even have time to detail my zed anyways as im helping you with your AIVs and possibly front bar remove and reinstall, and helping peter removed his AIVs and after all that ill see if ive got time to work out a few little issues with my own zed it will be dark im guessing by then. its gonna be bloody great fun. Cant wait

 

hey sandeep, just pmed the address to a new member i recuited on Friday night. on Lygon street lol. He sounds very keen to come, i hope thats ok mate.

 

I don't think Ryan will care, always good to meet new ppl. he's not some undercover cop who's gonna come defect us all is he? ... that would would be uncool lol

besides trav is there anyone else coming from SE suburbs? I can meet you at the forster rd fwy exit and we can cruise up together.

 

if it gets too hot to detail, i will just run around and give anyone a hand with anything...
