    Update

Got a great response from people, thanks everyone.

    People who have confirmed are:

    MikeZX32
    Sandeep
    Fuegodenoche
    gtr300
    Jedi-77
    GNIMELF
    Beachy
    Badxtc

If I have forgotten anyone or not sent my address and such to anyone please let me know. I am hoping for a 9am start.

I have a good 1/2" drive socket set, a set of good screw drivers, pliers and bits and pieces like alen keys. What I don't have is a good set of spanners, a set of 6 sided sockets for budging stuck bolts, a permanent labeler (though I will just get a permanent pen and masking tape if need be) and anything else which I have probably forgotten. If anyone can bring anything I am missing or anything else which may be needed that would be great.

If someone whants to take notes/pictures that would be great too, there is not much NA specific plenum pull stuff around so this might be a good chance to do something about it.

Also, as we have a few people coming along I do have room to work on one more car if anyone has little jobs they want to do on the day we can probably fit that in too.

I think that about covers it, there are plenty of auto shops near here if I have forgotten anything important, hope to see you all on the day.

    Last minute request

Is there anyone coming along who can bring a digital camera to document what goes on?

Also, if someone can bring a good set of spanners that would be handy too.

    Thanks and see you tomorrow.

    Day 1

Thanks to everyone who came along for the first day.

All in all I think things went rather well, everything went according to plan and there really weren't even any hiccips anong the way, much less disasters.

    Yet....

I see what people mean about it being much harder the first time around, I think if I ever need to do it again I would be pretty confident.

Yes, I know, wait til it comes time to put it all back together.

And well done to Mark who, it turns out, can identify different brands of fuel by taste.

    yes

nothing like a bit of BP ultimate in the morning... it also goes well with some steamed fish and a salad....

next time I'll keep my mouth closed when the fuel starts spurting out...:)

    Cheers

During the week I am getting my injectors cleaned, bypassing the under plenum water piping and shopping for the PCV bypass, everything else is happening next saturday, looks like being a big day :)

    Part 2

Could and indication of who will be coming along on saturday?

Due to popular demand (Hi Mike:biggrin: ) we will be starting around 10-10:30 this time and lunch and drinks will be provided again.

Sandeep, are you able to bring your intake leak tester? What sort of compressor do I need to work it? Will a little car battery powered tyre pump work?

Everything important is ready to go, I will try to get all the little extra things done tomorrow night but it is just little cosmetic things so it is no big deal if I don't get it all done.

Yeah I'll bring the intake leak tester. You can use one of those little compressors but it makes it hard to hear the leaks.

Pete, I said I'd be attending, but didn't realise I'd been double booked last weekend & this weekend house-sitting in Geelong so unfortunately I can't make it.

Bad news: Going to the in-laws for the weekend again.

Good news: They are on holiday in NSW! Foxtel for me!!!!!
