Handy, I have seen stuff cut and pasted from that but it is useful to have the full list.

I don't know a lot about the PCV reroute, I was actually going to ask you what was involved as after a quick glance at the tech section it seems like something worth doing.

    Timetable

OK, I was just having a look at the calendar and if I want to do this before the GOR cruise (ideal but not vital, though getting two weekends in a row with good weather might start getting harder after then) I need to get moving.

This is a list of weekends in March stolen from Col's GOR thread (sorry :))

    Mar
    Sat 1 & 2 Free
    Sat 8 - 10 Labour Day Weekend
    Sat 15 & 15 F1 GP
    Sat 22 & 23 Easter

They are pretty much all good for me though if I am going to start on the first weekend of the month I need to get a move on with getting organised.

Anyone have any preferences or days that they definitely can't do?

I did the PCV Reroute when I did my plenum pull - cost me about $25 in fittings from pirtek, and about $25 for some oil proof hose (had to find it in blue!)

You just need to drill and tap both intake cam covers, and fit the threaded fittings, then run the new oil pipe down and connect to the pcv's via the short factory rubber PCV pipes...

The tech article covers all this anyway... I got my cam covers drilled and tapped for me - again cost about $20.

Yeah, getting someone to do the drilling and tapping looks like a good idea, I can see myself getting that wrong in expensive ways.

Excellent, I will keep you updated as to when it is happening. Looks like sometime within the next month though.

I'll lend a hand if I have the time Pete, although I'm working at the GP and will be going to Cowra for Easter so that only leaves the earlier weekends.

Thanks Pete, I will let you know when the dates are finalized.

    Dates.

Saturday the 8th of March (labour day weekend) and the next saturday (15th March, GP weekend) to put everything back together and finish everything off.

Hopefully that suits most people, there will be a barbecue and drinks on both days too.

Please respond here or PM me if you are coming on one or both days so I can give you the address and sort out catering.

    Hope to see you then.

    Peter

Graham's helping me with my suspension on the 8th so I'll just come down on the 15th for the refit. I can bring my caz intake leak tester for you to use after it's all put back together to check for any leaks. I don't have a compressor though.

    That would be good, thanks.

I don't have a compressor either but if anyone else who is coming along could bring one that would be great.

PM on it's way with details
