UAS "Border" style vented hood

Legality

Just had an email back from John about the legality of these hoods. He says it's a bit of a grey area and if you call your local highway patrol half will say legal the other half will say illegal. Bottom line is they have sold around 700 of these over the last five years and no problems that they are aware of. I see heaps of cars running around every day with vented hoods so it's not something I'm worried about.

No they are not ADR approved, nor are ram pods, sports exhausts, or any other aftermarket mods we do.

So yeah I guess it's up to the buyer to make up their own mind? As I said I'm getting one of these and there are quite a few forum members using this hood or similar without any problems.
