where does it say on UAS's site that they are genuine parts? and dont genuine only come in poly not Fg?

I never said i read UAS's website i was only going off what has been said in the thread! And it doesn’t matter anyway disregard section 3 if that is the case, section 2 still stands and he is entitled to a refund if he likes seeing as the parts are cracked like he said......

It should be no surprise that a business sells things for more than another business as well as less. Also as mentioned in this thread, we don't make everything we sell and outsource many items. We normally get them sent to us, check, pack and send them. In this case we didn't. Yes it could've been packaged better but this does not guarantee no damage. The sideskirts actually could've been bought for $318 not $278.

I've only just received an email from Anthony who I've emailed back. This should be kept off the forum and only if unsatisfactory result should it be put on the forum. Not slander on forum first, more likely to get assistance from a business.

I bought a greddy style bar through carmate, fitmet is WAAAAAAYYYYYYY OFFFFFF.

Thought my only option was UAS.

This is a legimate situation where I've already wasted $650 on a carmate copy and could be wasting another $750 buying the same junk from you.

Dealing with the public is a bitch especically when they organise and talk to one another... however by selling someone elses products you are in effect guarantee'ing it to a certain degree, if you build a rep for good quality would you want to jeopardise it? As far as fibreglass body parts UAS were the only game in town if you wanted something reasonable, that is under question now.

UAS GREDDY BAR is NOT from carmate.

It is from a quality mold with solid/thick fibreglass ,fits well and the only one I would use in AUS

 

No, it's a GReddy bar which you and carmate BOTH copied! The difference is UAS, to my understanding, modified it for less overhang and better flow, and sold on a quality product which CarMate did not.

Pepper, I've seen the GReddy front bar IRL and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

As for this... shit, I'd expect at least the supplier's brand be covered up :\ Businesses resell all the time. I'd have thought better of UAS to sell cheap CarMate crap.

Bad experience, I understand business's do resell items like UAS have done in this situation,

Yes it is annoying to have a product turn up in what you think is underpackaged. but UAS has a long standing history with plenty of more than happy customers....

We are all human and no one is perfect so I think give them a break...

If I bought a toy from target and it broke in the first week I would call them and replace it... i wouldnt go on a rant about how they are incapable of operating as a business and no one should buy anything from them ever toy related or not...

 

Josh .. it costs SFA to pack and ship properly .....

6-9 months back i sent a rear spoiler from the Gold Coast to Melbourne by "e-go" ..

first layer of packing was total coverage with 4cm heavy foam rubber/second layer was total coverage and protection with polystyrene/third layer was full covering with heavy corrugated cardboard ... the difference between that and a "bubble wrap" special was $10-15 .. they charge by the cubic metre and the difference is zilch .. !!!!

and be rest assured that package was delivered safe and secure much to the joy of the recipient ... it ain't hard and what we have seen here and previously is simply slack, incompetent, bordering on criminal negligence ..!!!!
