So i buy my bomex rear and side skirts and they came packaged like this...

oh AND THEY ARE FROM CARMATE FFS
    [IMG]

also they have several cracks in them, i guess the sticky tape they used wasnt good enough :)

But UAS prices are about 35-45% higher for similar bodykit parts than Carmate. I would be feeling a bit ripped off right about now mate.

  3. Benny_C

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

Jesus! ....and further to that, there isn't even any bubble wrap on it!!!!

What did you pay for them? (if it's ok to ask), because it's clearly a cheap "Carmate" set of kit parts there.

Because on the Carmate website, the Bomex "knock off" parts go for...
    Skirts: $278
    Rear Bar: $343

Please tell me you didn't pay more than that for them through UAS?!?!
If you did, i would be kicking and screaming to JP over that!!!

id call and speak to John and try to sort it out...I have dealt with UAS on a couple of occasions and have been happy with the quality of products and service given on each occasion........give them the opportunity to fix the issue before you bag them out completely on this forum.

first of all this was their second chance as i got a twin rear bar from them which was also cracked...

how are they going to fix the issue? they sold me carmate parts which they know about and they charged me extra...

If a vendor's inclusion makes it difficult to discuss them objectively within this owners association, maybe they are better off outside.

Some people just don't learn. I call them out as Clown's of the Year. You would think they would have learned by now. It's really not that hard to wrap something correctly. I hope they aren't wrapping Christmas presents for Santa.

OK, let's put it in a perspective we can all understand...

When receiving packaged goods, you expect this (lots of support, sufficient padding in the appropriate places, oozes quality):

But instead, you got this (minimal EVERYTHING, looks like it'll break just breathing on it):
