as it looks like i will be arranging fitting these very shortly i was wondering if this will be an issue for the exhaust shop ? can they just leave it disconected ? would that cause any complications ? is it legal ?
EGR Any exhaust shop that is familiar with Z's shouldn't have any issues with dis-abling the EGR! ........& like every other mod on a Z I think it is illegal??........but is hard to identify on a 'visual inspection'?? Best to send Simon@TTZ an email or give him a call!.......he'll be able to give you all the answers you need about this!
UPDATE! Hi all........I spoke with Simon tonight to see how things are going?? Headers arrived back from HPC today.......... so for those that have paid in full they should be shipped out tomorrow!! Non HPC sets were sent out a few days ago & should be arriving any day now at your door!
got mine on friday and looks like there must of been a change of plans regards EGR as it looks like there is a faucility for it , this is a good thing me thinks . im off to get a quote for fitting right now but whats the concensus on fitting prices ? what have others paid for fitting ?
unless someone backs out and doesn't want them, i don't reckon you'll get a set. They're already been made and sent out. Best to try and give ttz a call and find out just in case. Hopefully mine will arrive this week
first quote i got for fitting is $400 and a 2 week wait till he can do it , am going to try another but any other WA Z owners got a quote for fitting ?
btw i think that's for the the o2 sensors (got mine today as well yay ) i asked simon a while ago about design changes and he said ideas about a place for the egr valve were tossed around, as well as changes in runner length etc. But in the end they decided to leave the design on a tried and tested design as they didn't have the finances to test different designs to any great extent. They did however reduce the amount of welds which 'should' improve flow a bit. I'm getting Joe Imbesi over here in vic to fit mine sometime this week, as well as fixing some other things. will let you all know how it goes

have you got any quotes for instalation ? im having trouble no ones is very keen to do it , i guess it must be a bastard of a job.
GB finally finished???? By now everyone should have received their headers?? I've sent PM's to you all to check? Can you please reply so that I have confirmation of this?? Then I can get the mods to lock this thread & finally put this damn GB to bed!!
