Ok, so it's time for an official 571CKY progress update for those who have heard about it but haven't really seen too much of what's going on. I've finally got my own internet back, so I'm free to unleash a MB bomb First off I started with the removal of the wing and rear wiper and it turned out pretty well. Then somewhere around a month ago I finally found the engine for my shit box of potential thanks entirely to MagicMike for finding it for me along with a good set of turbos We picked a weekend that suited everyone then hired Fleet's (Pete) hoist to carry out the swap. Mike and I drove the car to AMEC with the spun bearing CLATTERING and BANGING, drawing all sorts of attention and a very nervous me thinking we weren't gonna make it to the shop. We figured if I'm gonna swap the engine anyway then why the hell would I pay for a Tilt Tray Around 24-30 hrs later and many thank to Mike, Chrispy, BoneZx, Pete and zac_du_preez , Cara for catering and a small audience, we got the swap completed in time to get it off the hoist for Pete to commence day to day work from Monday. Pete, Mike and I got it running but rough as guts due to a big air leak. Car sat in Pete's yard for a month while I continued finding the leaks with help from Pete. Turned out to be Plenum Gasket, so an early Plenum pull was carried out and all bypassables were bypassed. Swapped CAS, reset the timing and re alligned TPS and now she's running sweet. Got it home with help from Pete again and that same night I fitted my UAS front bar. After a coat of primer and a about 2 coats of Black, I'm currently in the process of painting it. The blinging shiny finish will still be a few weeks off yet but it looks quite promising for the girl to be out with a breeze up her coolers again soon. Super mega thanks to Mike, BoneZx, Chrispy and Pete for the hard work. I owe you guys big time...Sept for Bonzey, he got a big bottle out of it and I paid Pete lol. so helping undo a bolt on a turbo doesnt count as help anymore...fine then lol looking good mate good to see you have a nice colour now PS: is it just me or is your rear wheel no where near filling the guard???
Rims aren't black yet but they will be. I was originally gonna use the black as an undercoat but fell under its spell so I'm keeping it. HAHA yeah, thanks for nothin' Erik

Just another minor update. Went to the Sandgate Dyno Day and pulled a decent 286.4rwhp as most of you already know. And now tonight Chrispy decided my car was too gutless, so he brought over his Cat back system and helped me fit it. Took it for a run up the road and a difference was noticable when she broke traction under acceleration then a huge WOOSH out the BOV I forgot to see if the boost setting changed but I can always check that another day. Cool, we gotta see the thing doing over 300 at the wheels soon, that dyno sheet has only 3 deg difference in AT and IT so its no bull
