Heater works fantastic, when the temp starts to soar I turn the heater all the way up and it helps by as much as 8 - 10 degrees.
I think i've checked for bubbles but worth another shot.

I would.....but I don't have one unfortunatly. The car came with the 18 inch thermo on it, and I got a clutch fan from a wreck i've got here, but everything before the fan was pretty much destroyed.

I was talking to Franz when he was over last year and he said he didn't run a shroud and he's never had a problem. Fair enough he runs a twin pass rad however.

Perhaps someone might have a spare shroud they could bring to the techday for a bit of a road test?

I'm sorry about bumping a 5 year old thread but did this problem ever get solved?

Im having similiar problems only with the Air Conditioner on though.

At your ecu plug, solder a diode inbetween your AC clutch relay grounding wire and Aux Thermo Fan grounding wire.

This will essentially pull in your thermo fan the moment you turn your AC on, without adversely affecting the ECU control over the aux-fan. Will help to keep operating temperatures down and make the AC more efficient/ colder

Quick search of this thread and I cannot see that temp sensor was checked properly.

Either what OZX says or do something else using a separate switch to control it.
I would like the accessory fan to switch on a bit earlier and cut out a bit later.
