Geez, I don?t know where to start?

    WHAT AN AWESOME WEEKEND!!!!

I don?t think much else could have gone worse for me, but it didn?t stop me from having an awesome time!! There were a few moments when I thought we weren?t going to make it up?. But thanks to Timmy and Andy for putting up with my whinging and tears, (yes, tears) we made it.

Saturday night was GREAT? well, what I can remember of it!! I have some awesome photos of the night?. Which are vaguely familiar?. It?s amazing how we all managed to grow mullets that night. The night gets a little fuzzy after we left the restaurant, but like my good buddy r33k said, it?s great how alcohol can make strangers be best mates in one night?. Or something like that. :) Sunday was a bit of a struggle for most of us I think. I managed to wake up with a fractured wrist (yes, confirmed by xray at 4:30 this morning). The actual events of that night will always remain a mystery to me?

Quote for the weekend?weee ooo weee ooo doooooooo dooooooooo MER MER MER MER or so I was told?:D

Thanks go out to karl for organizing a fantastic weekend?. No-one doubted it would be for a second!! And to karl, Uncle Rob, Andy, Chris and Greg for tirelessly working on my FOOOOKIN car?. Would not have made it home without you guys?

Will post photos tomorrow with a little more commentary?. Miss you all already!! Bring on Cowra 2008?. Maybe with a manual gear box??  :D :D   :zlove: :zlove:

I just played back the GPS file

from my sat nav software. I ran it all the way home. No farking way was fate doing that speed, Rob and I were at 65-80 in that stretch, and Fate was behind.
    It will be contested!!

    yeh what a blast!

Yeh Haylz we had a blast! Alcohol kind of takes the edge off of meeting new people :p

Hope my sedate driving was ok on sunday :s I was running on adrenlin only! Gatorade, powerade <insert energy drink here> didnt seem to do me any good at all! (Damn Jim Beam!) Was strange to be last in the group for a change... (for part of the way anyhoo) I blame my low fuel problems... When i fueled up i had only 4 litres left in the tank, i heard Andymac had to coast in on empty!

We should do this thing more often, I honestly had no idea how much fun it was going to be!

Thanks fellow zedders for joining in on an amazing weekend :zlove:

    RE: sunday in bris...

I didnt actually make it to the caxton street festival, apparently it was so full they stopped letting people in! ( i looked like crap anyway, i had bags under my eyes that would put 'droopy' to shame).

I had a nap for 2 hours, got ready and hit the valley from 8pm to 5am! Cray-zee night! Didnt feel to good today at work though

PS: Its peow peow peow DO DO DO DO DO Woooop! woooop! ( i think? i'll just set it off again and check  )

    s_t_r_e_t_c_h flammin zed!!

we we've made it to airlie beach.. we left warwick hopeing to cover a bit of ground, strangly it was dark in brisbane by 6pm yesterday? so we pulled into gympie for the night..

set of again today at 7 and drove for 12hours straight.. making it airlie beach we only have 300kms left tomara.. the zed is still powering on strong, no problems at all.. we've promised the zed if it gets home with no worries we'll take it to get proffessionally detailed.. lol..

seen some funny stuff today.. a truck on it's side? not a little truck either this was a road train.. but we were moving to fast for the photo.. we managed to over take the same cars all day.. they must have been going past us when we would pull in for a loo break.. oh and some dude in a 4be ute try racing us.. what a loser..

had a ball on the drive down, the drive back is so boring cause we seen it on the way down.. lol..

had a great time down there!! made some great new friends for life.. see you all next time for zed fest 2008 for sure... we're saving already...:zlove:

(photos to come later, this is mum and dads slow computer lol)

What a top weekend. There's just something about Zeds that attracts the best people (and kids with paint brushes  ) Apologies to those who came out for the day trip on Sunday, a couple of people tried to talk to me while I was sitting in my car at the falls but I was only half awake  It was the food I tell ya hahaha. It was pretty embarrassing having to jump out of my car for a spew as soon as I parked.

    Here's a few piccies I took

here's my contribution for the cruise/mega meet

Thanks to all of those who organised the Mega Meet in warick for the long weekend. Altho i only made it for the sunday, but from what people said on the day and those who were already their for the 4days seemed to have enjoyed it.

A Big thanks the RORY for taking me along for a ride in his brandnew(2months old Z) really apreciate it champ.

My BabyZ is at home unfortunatly i cooked the auto box the sunday be4 :(

Was a great day Sunday the 6th of May really had a blast, and did many others some didnt cause they were hung over from night b4, but a little cruise to the falls and back, woke most ppl up, mearly from adrenalin, lol as everyone followed the speedlimit and obayed the road rules

Was a great pleasure to meet the few that came from Townsville and Syd and where else, was great meeting the few and finally putting faces to nix, saw some nice rides that people have from different states and different styles like haylz mint coloured zed with no door handles and fuel cap, all cleanly shaven... nice, stretch with the black z with green flames down the body and the furry interior, and to andymac's fanless enginbay if u know what i mean!, if not look at the foto.

their was otherz with nice features but didnt take many fotos that day so prolly didnt catch ur car in the fotos. next time i go i will go for whole weekend n ill bring along a comp and camera and video camera so i can capture all the fun.

like all events that are hosted, someone always has problems with the cars, unfornatly haylz and andymac had probs with over heating, but by end of day they were fixed, thanks to the crew who fixed haylz car so she and tim could drive home. its a shame to hear that you cooked your gearbox haylz, in my opinion go for the manual conversion will cost u like $3000 odd but its well worth it, as i have cooked 2x auto gearbox's in the last 2yrs not good, but if u choose to still get an auto box, buy an indipendant tranny cooler they cost about $100 odd and are really help full.

also hayli hope ur wrist gets better soon, maybe next time u drink you shouldnt drink so much, u prolly wont hert your self or break something.

im sorry to those who i may have anoyed by my blabing if anyone thought so, i tend to talk, if anyone listens is another question. lol sorry once again.

pete mate hope all gose well with you and ur licence i hope that u take it to court and dispute it as it looks kinda bs that you got court doing such speeds in such poor conditions, those radar's rnt accurate anyways, but good luck with that one mate, hope u still got a licence after all that.

take care all nice to meet some of you, that i havent already met over the past couple of years.2007 most impressive screensavers
