second greg's assessment .. fate was done in the

neck by some impossible technological marvel...

we were travelling behind two vehicles, one pulling a trailer, at around 70-75kpm .. overtaking lane came up and off fate went to pass, i followed a bit behind .. fate would have to have lifted from 75kpm to 146kpm in 100 metres and around a bend ... absolute nonsense/rubbish/bs/whatever .. poor fate just cannot win .. it really was a devastating experience to witness ... mrs black baz witnessed the whole thing, is totally unbiased in this exercise, and fully supports this assessment of events ... just too bloody sad to believe ...

.. the only alternative is that fate has to have the fastest zed with the greatest torque in australia ...!!!!

Lucky Sean had success with his latest mod

That being, superglue injectors spraying onto the tyres. Karl was able to use some of the spare addresses in the ECU to activate these injectors when lateral G-Forces are detected.

EDIT: Mods, you freaked me out moving my thread in with Benny_C's main one - I guess those with dial-up will just have to wait for an hour to load up all the pics in one single thread!

    Fantastic Meet!

Saturday morning was the 1st chance i had to drive my car 'properly' in a few months! For two weeks before hand the purple people eater was in AMEC getting everything i wanted done to her (thanks to my bonus from work) :D

Pete and the guys from AMEC did a great job as she absolutely blasted with smooth power throughout the rev range! (of course within the speed limit)

I hope the Sid-e-knee and TVL groups enjoyed our cruises "SE QLD" style, we all had great fun, some nice roads through the countryside.

Unfortunately i now need a new windscreen due to Fleet's car shedding stones from his sticky tyres as he accelerated past *** KMH , one stone hit my passenger side window very hard and poor haylz ( my PSA on sunday) ducked! the crack now seems to grow every time i go for a drive :(

We were all that blasted on Sat night that everyone thought the 'car alarm symphony no. 9' was hilarious and people were singing along! (felt very guilty in the morning though  ) Someone fell flat on their face in the courtyard of the motel possibly cracking a bone in their hand, which kind of signalled an end to their night, 9.9 for effort, drink till you fall!

Sunday i think everyone was driving on pure adrenlin after our sat-night activities, i drunk 3 gatorades, a large bottle of water, coke and 2 bacon and egg muffins to try to straighten myself out (didnt work) as soon as the driving stopped i just wanted to lay down somewhere and flake out :)

5 of us drove back to brisbane on sunday afternoon sticking solidly to the speed limit, there were cops everywhere! at one point the local traffic police car was leading our cruise at a steady 100 kmh for about 15 minutes, after this pulled off the cars coming in the other direction flashed us many times, kind of felt like the police 'knew' we were leaving! I have no idea why they would have any hard feelings towards us after our lovely sedate cruises on the weekend

This was the biggest event i have attended so far, I really missed out last time at gilgandra! Bring on the next one!!! :D

    Fooooken Ell!!! Wha a weeekend!

Trip home was a mission...my headlights decided to drop in and out for a stretch which made it interesting on the new england hwy. Old Timmy was struggling by the last few hundred K's, and to say the least I wasn't as chipper as the drive up. So all in all it took about 3-4 hrs longer than it should have.

Haylz car stayed cool for the trip home, but the punishment it recieved has cooked the auto, only 3rd gear left by the time we reached tamworth and wouldn't hold her revs by the time we reached newcastle, but we made it home.

Saturday night was grrreat, we should have been tossed ut of the chinese resturant, well, me and Benny at least.

The whole Qld contingent are great and you'll see me up there for most of your events.

Thanks Karl for a great weekend, absolutely fantastic!!

    Pics soon.

Was an AWESOME weekend :D Wish it didn't have to end :)

Huge thanks to Karl and family for organising the meet which ran faultlessly, all the other zedders who made the trip, the hotel for not kicking us out, sponsors Cazracing, Cresta, and especially Street to Strip for the Interior award :D, and also to the local WRX brigade (all one of him :)) - you made my weekend :) hehe

Great to see all the regular QLD'ers, all the guys I first met at Coona last year who made the trip, and it was awesome-est to meet the FNQ crew who made the trek down :) All you guys rock!

Fate man you sure know how to attract em don't ya - mabe if you stopped killing people your karma would change for the better :) Or mabe they picked you out because of the milti color front end as it stood out most in the rain??? I assume you'll be taking it to court? Spewing mate :(

I'm soooo glad that I won't have to hear DJ Benny C's early morning radio show for a while to come :p haha You're a classic man! :)

Will MagicMike be at the next event? FAAARK YEAAAHHH! :D

Thanks again to all the orgainsers and everyone who showed up over the whole weekend as it is the people who make our wonderful events so bloody good :)

    Great Bunch :)

Had a quiet couple of days in Brissy before I headed to Warwick with Fate and Magic Mike....and was a great w.end with everyone and the long effort put in on Sat nite til the Morning Benny C Radio will be etched in my memory for long time to come hehe :D

Thanks guys for making me feel welcome even tho I didnt drive my zed down......I had driving withdrawals as soon as I landed in Brissy lol.

Great scenery and great roads....and yes Reek the TVL peeps enjoyed the "SE QLD" style cruises ;)

Sorry to hear bout ur mishap with the po-po's Fate  not a good way to end a great w.end......hope it all sorts out for ya.
Just think if u had painted ur zed in Chrome paint....they would have thought u were a flying UFO lol

Many thanks to Karl (Donald heheh) and Jo and his extended family for the whole w.end!

Warwick will always be remembered for Benny C's "FARRRKKK YEAHHH"
    (The New Jenga lol)

    What a top weekend!

Karl and Jo you did an awesome job of organising a really fun 3 days for us, thankyou :)

Thankyou to K-Zed for picking me up from the airport Friday morning and providing accommodation for the night and transport out to Warwick Saturday. :zlove:
A last minute invite to a Drift practice night at Qld Raceway Friday night saw me race out and hire a VE and disappear till early Saturday morning....it was good fun ;) (sorry Rob  )

Saturdays afternoon cruise I went with Fate, thats always FUN! Laughing (from fear mostly  ) and choking on dust, Sean you're the best, thanks :p

Saturday night was so much fun, cars, Coona vids, Jenga that didn't work, mullets and way too much alcohol.

Sunday morning not so good...:( :( barely made it into Aza's car for the cruise, but adrenalin is a wonderful hangover cure, I felt almost human by the time we got to the falls. Aza's NA is just incredible! Its so punchy and the sound of it under WOT is mad!

Did the return trip in Fleets Race car...WOW  ..if only the roads were smoother hey Pete.... she's built for track work and the roads were just too bumpy for that sort of power and suspension. Still a great experience though :) Thanks Pete. Its good to have your insides re-arranged occasionally :D :D LOL.

Pete, Aza and I then went out to Morgan Park Raceway to have a look and Pete's main competition..the GT40 was there ready to race! So we sat and watched for a while. It looks like a fun track, the venue for 2009 Nissan Nationals, bring it on!

Sunday night was much quieter, with Pizza, a few beers and some good hearty Zed talk before we wandered off to bed.

The car show Monday went really well, the cars all looked beautiful. Congratulations to the trophy winners.

The trip back to the airport was eventful to say the least... poor Sean.
I really don't like police at the moment

Thankyou to all you wonderful people who always make these weekends so very special, they are just never long enough...

    Caz.. :)
