    That's the thing... my auto has been recently rebuilt.. why would i put in a piece of crap?

    SAW at a good price? not possible :p

    Did you have your converter done also, was this by Western ?

    DinoZ, been wondering how well your rear mounted cooler went. Not 100% by the sounds of it?
    What ATF temperatures were you seeing?

    Bummer, thought I was onto a bargain :D

    Mate, something's not adding up here. I just looked at the B&M cooler you are running, it's a decent size.
    Are you monitoring your ATF temps with an independant gauge or are you relying on what the SAW display tells you after
    it interprets the signal from the OEM temp sensor in the transmission?
    brisz is right on when he mentions the possible inaccuracy of the OEM sensor. I found mine to be reading high, intermittently.

    Also, are you running a stock torque converter or a higher stall job?

    Haven't had the chance to run it with the laptop plugged in to monitor temps.
    Engine is about to come back out, so won't know the answer till the new year.
