So i woke up yesterday, had a shower and got ready, walked outside to find.... No note... no nothing... tried calling my panel beater, no answer no call back so i guess he's closed till after Easter... It's a dark... DARK day in my Z life.... I'm insured, but dunno if the $500 excess and premium hike is worth it, might just have to fork out.... fml Elie
That sucks so bad mate...exact reason why I'm not bothering to paint anything untill I get a proper car park at work.. I hate people..
OMG... You just about need secret spy surveillance these days to catch arsholes like that!! No respect low life scum!!
I feel your pain, i had a similar thread back in december, damage not as bad as yours. Always a shame when it happens to one of the nice ones
bloody oxygen thieves 1/ make DAMN sure you notify the police...... may have been other cars in your area with the same damage or they may get some paint samples from your car ( their car WILL have your red on it for sure) 2/ Take a drive around your area, maybe other cars with similar damage ... local pith head was caught after he 'rubbed' a few cars on his way home from the pub..... he'd sideswiped 23 cars and 1 semi.... & didnt remember a thing..... he rang the cops and told them HIS car had been hit & when they looked at it there was all this other paint from other cars on it  3/ If you can get a color off of your car then contact ALL panel beaters in your suburb and sorounding suburbs, undoutable THEY too will need a repair ... its how I caught a hit run on my old ute many years ago 4/ dont park it there again
Elie, that is so painful to look at compared to your awesome signature pic! I think BADZX has good suggestions - cruise around looking for red on other cars and do notify police & local panel beaters. They may have recovered a stolen car with just some minor red paint marks on the front fender... and hopefully caught the culprits too! $500 excess sucks, but I reckon it will certainly be the cheapest way to go.
Oh man..... thats painful to look at at the best of times, but after all the work you've done...... I hope it gets fixed soon
absolutely, that's all double skinned there, so a real pain to work on and it's a job that you'd prefer insurance to pay for. Your no-claim rating should be secure against not-at-fault claims.
Dude that sucks. My Z was swiped out on my street a week or so as well. it was only the slightest touch though, on the urethane bumper. All came out after a buff. Not so lucky huh
oh geez.. i feel ill looking at that. i cannot imagine how pissed off you'd be. why does it have to happen to such a nice car
Ah man I feel for ya!......that sux BIG time! I can't believe you park that Z on the road though??? That baby deserves a fully enclosed theft proof garage AND an electric blanket! :zlove::zlove::zlove::zlove::zlove: I hate to say it but WTF were you thinking??? ......that's just asking for trouble!
Thanks for the kind words boys. Yeah I'm really really shattered. I don't usually park it on the street but had to coz mum was in the driveway... Usually garaged elsewhere. Oh god, it makes me so ****ing angry!!! It's not so much the damage... It's just metal and can be fixed, it's more the fact that whoever did it cared not to leave a note or anything. I mean, if they are uninsured, that's cool, I'll pay but a sorry or something at least... Oh well... Thanks again guys. Elie
muthaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa f)$U($&#*^*@^(@ that sux man, dam id be so furious good advice given report it to the police, they may have other incidents in your street/suburb and may find the guy....got nuff to loose... insurance for this man, that will be more than 500. although just be mindful ur policy may increase in its renewal stage. regardless whether u have claim cover rating 1 blah blah... thus id still go through insurance for this... might have a scratch on your wheel?? also tell the panel beater to fill up the antenna hole dam bastards would have been fun if you saw who did it
