Remote Central Locking/Remote Start/Turbo Timer/Alarm/Immobiliser

Victorian installers?

Hi Scott looks an interesting unit and a pretty good price. Does anyone know or can recommend a Melbourne installer who could fit one of these. And approx dollars to do so?

JB300zx not sure of an installer down there, but if you want in I need monies tranferred before the weekend so get in quick!! Prices around here range from $150 to $350 depending on how many of the features you want and how many immob points etc.

does this mean that i can have the alarm over-ride a brant keypad immobiliser if i wanted the remote start option enabled?????

 

Compaability with Brandt

No I highly doubt it... infact no it wouldn't. It will interface OK (as in work properly along with the Brandt, but the 'over-ride' feature is just an earth pulse (to drive a relay etc) the Brandt system is much too complex for this so your remote start won't work. sorry!

Sorry for the delay Scott. I don't browse the forum as often as I should.

Having installed two of these units now, I am pretty comfortable

with the installation. If anyone who has bought one of these is installing it themselves, (or wants a diagram on how to convert into a 2 or 3+ point immobiliser) feel free to email/PM me for info as required (Pls don't phone as I don't check my mobile that much ATM).

The offer to do the install for Brisvegans stands. I can install this as a one, two or three+ point (individual circuit cuts) immobiliser at no extra charge -with/without remote central locking (actuator included at no charge) and with/without remote start).

Also included is immobiliser circuit cuts/siren in very unusual locations and covering coloured wiring (increasing the time taken by a thief to bypass).

If you can live without remote start (most people do!), the alarm box can be installed in various positions away from the usual spot of up under the dash (greatly increasing the thief bypass time)!!!

PS: The remote paging is quite impressive (I was recently on the tenth floor of a hirise with zed parked in underground carpark below- the paging system worked just fine!)

just wondering if i would be able to get an acutator from anyone? i have

heard that if u try to buy them from a shop, u have to buy a set of four, so if anyone has a spare acutator for my new alarm it would be greatly appreciated :thumbsup:

 

Try Dick Smith or Jaycar... they sell single actuators...
